    Just got my dream car: 2020 F-Type R. I got it used with 6000 miles on it and saved $30,000 off an MSRP new of $114,000! I am loving it & it is now my daily driver replacing my 2015 Infiniti Q70L 5.6 V-8. V-8's rule! :)

      Absolutely and great choice on the car. They really are great, as you see. Not much out there that is more well rounded and exciting to drive.

    Hi Mike I've been watching your videos about f-type for just a few weeks, and I have to admit, that you encourage me to buy the jag. My feelings to buy this car is now even stronger than it was before I'vd discovered your channel. This model has got spectacular shape and outsanding performance. In my currency is worth about quarter of milion for 2016-2018 with v6 engines AWD. In USD it'll be ~65k
    There are avaivable 2.0 300hp from. 2018 but I'm not interested to posess one of them. Currently I'm driving Audi A5 with almost the same engine 2.0 260hp as this new jags, and my girlfriend has got the TT so we are in Audi club ;) Greetings from eastern europe.

      Hi and thanks a lot for reaching out. They are all great cars and really can't go wrong, and the V6 is wonderful. With that said, give the V8 a try, I think these cars certainly speak for themselves.

    I agree with your statement about driving your cars to keep them Running and working. My Daily Driver(s) Both of them will turn 25 in 2022 and I believe if i stopped driving them, or parked them for 6 months, I'd run into some some expensive trouble

      Absolutely, that seems to help them, its the regular use that keeps them going.

    Great comments. Totally agree. I buy them to drive and enjoy. Never could understand why someone buys what they want. Them make a garage queen out of it. But good for me. I got a great used for a lot less. And still have the one I wanted. But the color. Love yours. Mines black. Great color. But your shows more style. But drive it each time I want to. Never pay attention to how many miles but more on how I feel. Like you I treat and detail clean it very often. Probably to often. Never ever sits with dust on it. Like going to the bathroom. Gotta be Done. Again thanks love you post

    Another great and informative video Mark. Are you as a DIY person able to work on or replace your own suspension components as well as your AWD system? I'm not able to find any videos on maintenance where the AWD system is concerned. Thanks and keep up the good content on your Jaguar.

      Hi Victor, I certainly can do much dIY and rarely do I shy away, however the car is new enough and with warranty for a bit yet, so I have had no need to get into much, but stay tuned. The only thing so far are adding the spacers.

    I just watch this video. Love it. And I say the same. Set a goal and believe you can. I grow up on welfare. Not productive parents at all. For some reason. I believe I was blessed from god. That I am better then that. My parents alway told me ya right. When I would say my dreams. With the belief in your self. And do it honestly. And hard work. You can be who you believe you can be. I am not wealthy in any means. Or even close. But have been blessed. And there are some limits that may show up. But you can still do it. Cars are my dream. And my friends. Beside my family. They are a great part of my life. I learn a lot on your post. Thanks .

    I think apart from the sports tuned suspension, the F makes a great daily drive. Controls are all in the right place, you can use the cars functions without these irritating touch screens (solid buttons and knobs). I don't drive mine daily. Maybe it's the roads here but the risk of scraping the nose or damaging these very expensive Michelin Pilot Sport 4 on roads I'm not familiar with is just not worth it. Anyway, I like to keep it for rare occasions which add to it being special. However, I make sure it has a run at least once a week ! I've been going thru the History of the F Type (Andrew Noakes book) and really it's a miracle child (The F type that is). for ever seeing the light of day given all the Jaguar poliitics and awful decisions made from 1980 to 2010 !!!

      Thanks again and I totally agree, it is a miracle machine. Nothing really on this side of a 300,000 exotic that I like more. Style, sound, and performance makes such a nice balance especially considering the daily attitude is great too with little compromise. I can also speak from the damage perspective and some friends of mine who own a project7 shared something on how expensive the from lip is to replace in carbon fibre and the things that a person really wants to avoid.

    I didn’t know there was a charger port under the hood of the Jag. I wired a quick-connect directly to the battery, so I just plug the charger inside the trunk. I use NOCO Genius G1100 battery maintainers.

    • @markholubetz
      @markholubetz  3 года назад

      Hi David, not really a port per say as a dedicated set of + and - terminals easily assessed. It is handy so you do not have to touch the battery itself.

    Are the RWD Rs considered to be more pure sports car and more fun/lively vs the AWD cars? 550hp is a lot of power the rear wheels. I just got an F82 M4 and that thing even struggles big time putting the power down to the rears at only 425hp stock

    • @markholubetz
      @markholubetz  3 года назад

      The RWD is a real beast and can chew up the rears quite easily and even my AWD seems to squirm too sometimes especially in first gear. It really is almost like a corvette with better build quality and a slightly higher ride height.

    • @iGwammy
      @iGwammy 2 года назад

      My RWD has real issues putting down power from a stop. Once you’re up to ~20 though it’s a lot of fun

    Is it ok to be that goofy kid at 62?...I love the F Type in any variant V6 or V8 (don't forget the 4 pot) a special car in every way so I drive it whenever I feel the need I want to.
    I have also as DB has mentioned added a charge port directly to the battery in the boot (trunk) to trickle charge and maintain the battery.
    Thanks Mark.

      Haha, thanks Dave, you are right, I am no spring chicken and many of us find these cars bring out the kids in us. The sounds, the style and other reasons just make it feel really special and never duplicated any where else. Have an awesome day.
