The Singapore government should reinstate Thaipusam as a public holiday as the reason why it was removed has been accomplished (economic growth). The gov talk about equality, all major religions here have 2 public holidays except Hindus

Everyone loves ThaiPusam, as it’s applied for nomination to UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list in Singapore. 🇸🇬 A public holiday will be nice, to attract the mass Singaporean participation on common ground and improve mutual understanding and respect 🫡
