The Urban Gentry I agree! The GA-2100 might wear smaller than it looks though because of the shape and being the thinnest g-shock ever. It is 45.4mm to the DW5600's 43mm. It would be great to see what it looks like on smaller wrists
Works just fine for me though, it is not that dark from my experience. The lume sticker at the center of the hands make a good contrast with the face thus a bit more visible. Also, glad my eyesight is still in good shape.
I will be waiting for the metal bezel version, LED light just like in those MTG B series and screwback case design made in Japan. Hope that AP Switzerland won't get too furious about this model. 😃😃

I love the red one, but really concerned about visibility. I'd be using it as a tool watch in low light conditions (I'm a bouncer) and currently use a GA-800-1ADR.
the black with the white hands and dials looks classy as well, and is more practical and actually looks better than the black out version if you want to look stylish (looks similar to the ap watches they were inspired from at a glance) since it attracts the eye more than the stealth one- which looks suited as a sports watch than an everyday watch, due to its subdued look. red looks good as well but suits as a casual wear accessory.

I would love to see you mod the all black with parts from the red version. Like the date wheel only in red leaving the black hand. Or the digital display from the red to the all black. I think subtle changes like that would make the all black the only one for me.
I was a 6900 die hard but these are becoming a fast favorite. I do miss the ability to wear them inward and press the light button by flexing my hand inwards finger stretched which the 6900 seemed to be made for.

I salvage my that parts from a vintage 1992 released DW-6100D. It is 16mm so it won't fit the new GA-2000GZ. I would recommend the green nylon strap from GA-2000E instead.

The lume will also appeared to be like dark green where on the other light green. Overall I gotta agree that they didn't last that long. Pretty standard for G-Shock at this range. Bright fades rather quickly, but better not having any I guess.
Any strap from dw5600 or dw6900 would do. They'll fit just fine. If you'd wanna save some cash, get any silicone watch band in white instead. Get a 22mm ones and trim the connection into 16mm.

Its really awesome but so hard to find now days. Its being resold for 2-4x retail price
The stealth version is fine. Unless you want to tell the time. But as a lump of unbreakable dark plastic on your wrist it’s a winner.

Not sure why the shorter hour hand is below the minute hand. It gets blocked when they overlap.

Got this one yesterday. Lume is joke. Fade out pretty quickly.
The lume will also appeared to be like dark green where on the other light green.
