15/04/2020 - 01:48 AM - Italy I've been changing a lot in the past couple of months. I'm 17 years old and I'm realizing most of the things I dreamt of when I was younger don't seem half as wonderful as they used to. I'm thinking about my whole life since its beginning to its current events. I'm reminiscing all the people I've been in these years, all my past and present loved ones, the way I saw life, the hopes and dreams I had, the fears and the disappointments I had and how much of a different person I am now. The past me wouldn't be able to recognize herself in the present me. I don't know if this makes me sad or glad. Maybe it's just that vague melancholy I carry with me. It's a transitioning moment. Alex Turner's music (including Arctic Mokeys one of course) has been in my life since I was a kid and it somehow always accompanied me, especially in the most important moments of my life. Now I'm listening to this, remembering all the things I felt and thought of when listening to these songs. They've always been in my life, and for each era they had different meanings to me and different people and things were associated to them. I just cried for an hour straight, feeling lost, miserable, as if something in me was missing and I don't know where to find it. Somehow, listening to the songs in this video made me wipe away my tears, to replace the tears of despair and sadness with tears of hope. No matter how many ups and downs I may go through, I believe in who I am and I believe in the beauty life can truly bring, even when it may seem like it's hiding somewhere. I will catch it. My favorite phrase is "nothing is eternal" because it's both good news and sad news. Bad things happen, so do good ones. Thanks to whoever read this. I guess I just needed to pour out my feelings. Thanks for uploading this amazing video. I send love to all of you.

I'm 22, nearly 23 and I remember my 17's like one of the best times of my life. I kinda feel identified with you at that time and that's why I'm saying that. Being at this age is scary and sad because of all the change that's happening and I swear it feels like they're happening all at once. Thinking of what the future could be like terrifies me sometimes, so thank you. Thank you for making me realize that I'm not alone, that we will all eventually get through this and that I should just enjoy the moments that I have right now.
You know, once I was in high school I had a huge crush on a guy who has been much cooler, taller, and funnier than me. He had the best jokes and the best music taste. Obviously, Arctic Monkeys has been one of his favorite artists. So, I liked him for quite a long time, even in my college. But, later we got older, planer, he even got married. Listening to this made me think about an imaginary date with him, that has never happened and never will.
That's sad. You're a lot like me. lol. But I'm currently in highschool, having that huge crush. I've already liked him for couple years, and I think he could probably be the love of my life. I'm not sure if he is ever going to love me back. I know my heart will break when he finds a girlfriend but I'll worry about that then. Now I'm gonna keep on dreaming about him. He's not even that great person. But he's sweet, cute and he has a good heart.

I've been changing a lot in the past couple of months. I'm 17 years old and I'm realizing most of the things I dreamt of when I was younger don't seem half as wonderful as they used to. I'm thinking about my whole life since its beginning to its current events.
I'm reminiscing all the people I've been in these years, all my past and present loved ones, the way I saw life, the hopes and dreams I had, the fears and the disappointments I had and how much of a different person I am now.
The past me wouldn't be able to recognize herself in the present me.
I don't know if this makes me sad or glad. Maybe it's just that vague melancholy I carry with me. It's a transitioning moment.
Alex Turner's music (including Arctic Mokeys one of course) has been in my life since I was a kid and it somehow always accompanied me, especially in the most important moments of my life.
Now I'm listening to this, remembering all the things I felt and thought of when listening to these songs.
They've always been in my life, and for each era they had different meanings to me and different people and things were associated to them. I just cried for an hour straight, feeling lost, miserable, as if something in me was missing and I don't know where to find it.
Somehow, listening to the songs in this video made me wipe away my tears, to replace the tears of despair and sadness with tears of hope. No matter how many ups and downs I may go through, I believe in who I am and I believe in the beauty life can truly bring, even when it may seem like it's hiding somewhere. I will catch it.
My favorite phrase is "nothing is eternal" because it's both good news and sad news.
Bad things happen, so do good ones.
Thanks to whoever read this. I guess I just needed to pour out my feelings.

I'm 22, nearly 23 and I remember my 17's like one of the best times of my life. I kinda feel identified with you at that time and that's why I'm saying that. Just keep going, 'cause life is beautiful, even when it isn't.
You just put all the thoughts that have been zooming around my head into words perfectly. Being at this age is scary and sad because of all the change that's happening and I swear it feels like they're happening all at once. Although I never fully listened to Arctic Monkey, music means so much to me because of what they associate with, the people, the time, these different version of myself that continue to change. Thinking of what the future could be like terrifies me sometimes, so thank you. Thank you for making me realize that I'm not alone, that we will all eventually get through this and that I should just enjoy the moments that I have right now.

You know, once I was in high school I had a huge crush on a guy who has been much cooler, taller, and funnier than me. He had the best jokes and the best music taste. Obviously, Arctic Monkeys has been one of his favorite artists. So, I liked him for quite a long time, even in my college. But, later we got older, planer, he even got married. Listening to this made me think about an imaginary date with him, that has never happened and never will.
