I like the funny interpretation of this, well done. Recently I made a glitch game that's centered around something called speed glitching, my friends loved it so much that they got it to 110 visits in just 2 days and I was kinda surprised. Mainly I'm a builder (not a scripter) and added bunch of decals on walls and other stuff to make the game funnier to play in that way and let others socialize there. It also was convincing to add a donation board and timeboard and I might get premium payouts but i have 205 robux in pending now. And making it was pretty fun and I agree that it shouldn't be a chore. Afterall you know that the game is good if you made it fun to play for others and especially you. (I also made some simulator game that's centered around a weird emoji but I did simon says on it with friends a lot). I don't mind becoming a huge developer but i prefer to just make friends have fun.
