    I am breeding some of the different species of this animals terrestrial cousins. They are surprisingly fun, and after watching this, maybe I should get an aquatic one as a pet someday.

      I highly doubt you will be able to find one as a domestic pet. These creatures live deep in the depths.

      things adapted to high pressure is fine at low pressure??? I think it's the opposite (things adapted to low pressure isn't fine at high pressure)

      @@plant5875 Depends on the species. I think it is fine for those with exoskeletons like lobsters, crabs, and isopods but for endoskeleton species like fish and eels, they would suffer. I don't know much about marine biology to make a proper claim.

      I saw another video on yt that showed these in a touch tank. That couldn’t be pressurized so what gives 🤷🏽‍♂️

      They can walk around on land with no problem. Pressurised tank isn't needed.

    • @AlternateIsopod
      @AlternateIsopod 3 года назад +1

      bro its pressure like can you see that the isopods are armored roaches of the sea its probably bc at the deep their shell protects them from pressure and without it the isopod would live normally (except the pressure)

    • @pickl6847
      @pickl6847 Год назад

      i believe that if you properly lower the pressure around them (ie: very slowly take them from the deep sea) they'll be fine. Monterey Bay Aquarium has touch pools with them and they are perfectly fine
