Add to that the expansion of creating island military bases etc, it seems a bit more than a wealth growing exercise... He also seemed to imply that the ROC government of Taiwan wants to take over the CCP of mainland China... However he fails to mention the ROC was the ruling government in charge of all of China, until the Chinese Civil War after which they retreated to Taiwan. So it seems a bit rich of this guy to imply the CCP had it first and then the ROC rebelled like a naughty child, became their own nation and now want to take over China.. It's a lot more complicated than that. Then he said why dont you hear people complain about US citizens buying land in Aus and US citizens own far more Aus land than Chinese do. Do i need to point out the painfully obvious here? We are allied with the US, not China. We dont complain about US land purchases just like we dont complain about Kiwi land purchases... China is the largest non-allied owner of Aus land and THAT is the issue. At the end he basically says we think China is a threat due mainly to xenophobia. Alot of guessing about China. But you did a good job. People don't speak about govt. People reserve their opinions. The entire population just obey. The citizens are very well behaved. They only want to make money and really don't care for anything else. Super super safe country. Very expensive. Infrastructure is massive. You can't beat em. October is a massive decision happening with the leadership which silently everyone wants their president gone.
