You could get wood letters from your HOME and then you'd only have to stitch the wreath. Granted you'd still need a flat finish the wreath, but it's an idea. I love your idea of turning your ditch pieces into pillows. They're so pretty it would be sad to throw them out.
Oh my! You have so many hoops, etc. as well as WIPS. The HOME project can be adapted with painted letters, or as suggested before, wooden letters glued on. Then only the O is stitched. I can relate to liking patterns, but they are not stitched up. I cannot start then leave patterns. Guess I am semi monogamous as I do have more than 1 going, but, usually just 2 at one time. I feel manic if too many are calling to be stitched lol. Part 2 will be fun. I found myself trying to tell you just what direction to throw the bags! 🥴
I have done Amid Amish Life 2x. Once as one piece and then again after my mother begged as 3. She framed it in one frame with one matt 3 holes. My daughter has hers and I have the one piece. It is a busy stitch. Mine is 14 ct done way back mid late 80s out of magazine and is 9x20.oh love the farm one! But I as well don’t mind a few quakers to stitch but not lots. Did a full large quaker and since then no thanks. 😂 oh your cavs are making me smile, sure the one wanted out, then you said was raining. Its raining here and yes been wiping paws.oh pup in the bags lol
Michelle. You are so cute. I just love your facial expressions. You always make me laugh. Your energy is so contagious. Thank you so much. I always love your flosstubes
Thoroughly enjoyed going through all your WIPs in part 1 with you, Michelle! For the Home pattern, if you wanted to just stitch the holiday/seasonal “O” pieces, you could purchase the H, M, E in wooden letters at HL or Michael’s and paint/mount them on another board, then switch out the O’s like you normally would if you had stitched all the letters. Just a thought I had when you showed that one.
Michelle, I love that you didn’t wear your glasses all the time today. I understand when you have to though🤣🤣 You have such pretty eye. Thank you for sharing your wips today. You know, the HOME IS WHERE THE WREATH is could be done with wooden H M E and just stitch the wreath for the O. I’ve seen other people do that. You might like it then. Anyway….have a great week. Always enjoy your videos…… Debbie
Thank you so much! I am now in the stage where my distance glasses make it hard for me to read! Lol! I now carry 3 pairs of glasses in my purse: reading glasses, distance glasses and prescription sunglasses 🙄🙄🙄
@@madebymichellemcgraw5899 I feel your pain with having so many glasses in the purse. I only have readers and sunglasses. I did have cataracts removed a couple of years ago that helped with driving, but I find I don’t like to drive at night. 🤣🤣🤣
You're thinking of JBW designs. Lots of very large designs. I worked on WIPS vs New Starts in 2023, now I'm going to go through all of my WIPS and see how many I have in each pile to work on or hold off. Maybe shorten up some designs & call them done. Looking forward to Part 2.
I love the H O M E by SWTH but didn't want to waste my time on those big letters - I've got more stuff to stitch-lol. So I bought wooden letters don't remember but maybe on AMazon or maybe at Paisleys and Polka Dots. I painted the letters white and mounted them on the same black aida that I was using for the O's. Then mounted them on the backgrounds. I also made one background for the o's and stitched all the o's and mounted to the background with magnets.
I enjoyed your whip parade! It was very interesting. I like the idea of an index file box of all projects. You have such a great sense of humor😎Love you and your channel.
Always enjoy your videos, your WIPs and your dogs. 😊 when you said you still had “two ships” to do I heard it differently. 😂 It’s cold and getting 9” additional snow here today. 💨❄️☃️
Your pups are so cute . . . I see the kitty made an appearance as well ;) I think they want you to finish so you can play with them. . . great WIP Parade. Love seeing all your projects.
This has been fantastic! You are such a joy to watch! I like the way you made a change pile so you can save parts of what you have already done. I am looking forward to watching part 2!
For your Wreath Swap, buy the letters, then just do the individual months. I bought my letters at either Hobby lobby or maybe Michaels. But I do think it was Hobby Lobby, 4.5”
Let me know if you want to pass on amid Amish life. I found the patterns on EBay but I would appreciate your if you want to rehome it. I could purchase it from you if you’d rather. The price was $35
Loved part 1 of your WIP parade! Great idea to change some of your enh wips to still get a finish and call it good. I sent you a dm on insta but I might be able to help you out re the wreath swap. :)

Love your progress on your beautiful wips. Happy stitching!
I love how you say "This might be a 2 parter." Naïve is what you are my friend ;)

I love your H, I bought wood lettering but still haven’t figured out how to make it work! Love your videos.
I wanted to add I would adopt any of your Quaker or whale hunting charts!

I have stitched Johnny Appleseed in the 90s, he's an ancestor of mine, I really should frame it! Love your WIPS!
That is awesome! Yes you need to frame it!!!
Always enjoy your videos, your WIPs and your dogs. 😊 when you said you still had “two ships” to do I heard it differently. 😂 It’s cold and getting 9” additional snow here today. 💨❄️☃️

Happy new year!
That was so fun Michelle and wait to see #2, in another life I’m sure we would be the best friends!!!!! 💚
Love it!!!
I love it! “Why are you talking to yourself?” says the dog. “Apparently, Michelle calls the animals by the wrong name.” 😂😂😂. You are hilarious!
I call my boys the dogs’ names all the time…finally I just say “you know who you are “ 😂😂😂

Thanks
I thought you had mentioned in a previous flosstube that you bought a sign for HOME and that you would just need to do the wreaths
Liked your parade. Do you have a 100 hoops? I like stitching in hand.
Id love a link to the cross stitch box if you have it :)
