these 3 guys got it all together... great old school rock... I listened to this repeatedly when it came out in...hmmmm I thinkin 1970... this is what real rock n roll sounded like back then....and the concerts were really fuckin loud...not like today...where lawyers and lawsuits dicate the sound levels... this was before all that shit... you couldnt hear for 3 days after a concert and ears rang for weeks but wouldnt trade that feeling for all the tea in china...
My hero, grew up with Grand Funk songs. I almost saw them in concert in the Netherlands, had a ticket, but the concert was canceled. Still one off the greatest disapointments in my life. Mark (and Grand Funk) is the reason that I sang 20 years of my life in bands. He was and is my inspiration. Greetings from the Netherlands
I saw Grand Funk perform this song at Cobo Hall in Detroit Michigan on April 29th 1971. Frisbees were flying, bics were lit up everywhere, and the band was throwing free joints to the crowd! Security didn't mind all the drugs floating around...they just wanted to make sure all of that was contained within the concert area. Even after all these years - Well done fellas!
I love this song! The way Mark's guitar pans from left to right while he rips that awesome guitar solo is just great! I wish they would release ALL the GFR albums on DVD audio or SACD from the master tapes... GFR in multi channel audio!
I'm thinking Mark and the band would love to come to France...You and your friends can demand their appearance at your favorite venue! Think what a great favor you would be doing your country! These guys are great!
thank you for your help.i ll go on mark'site to join fan club and then try to come in usa and realize my dream thank you again!i have now a new adress on youtube:farnerfrance
Wow! What an awesome version of the song. Mark Farner has only gotten better with age and his voice has stayed wonderfully intact.

Forget Don and Mel... these guys lay it down so much heavier! All you need is Mark's voice, Mark's songs, and Mark's guitar. There it is!
