May I know how to preserved any seed or safe the water hyacinth. Can I bring some in and please let me know how to take care of them during the winter cold month in door?

I have brought them indoors in a bucket of water for the winter. Making sure it gets plenty of light using grow lights or other supplemental lighting is the key for it to survive indoors until warmer brighter days. I have never saved seed from Water hyacinth so I do not know the best method saving seed. Thanks for watching!

It's hard to know without knowing more about your specifics. Could be temperature or water chemistry.

Enjoy it! They are pretty self reliant. As long as it is warm enough for it it should do fine. Thanks for watching!

But its a Terror Of Bengal Too
As it reduces the O2 level of the stagnant water on which it grows
Resulting in the Death of fish

It can definitely be a problem in areas where it is not kept in check by climate.
