  • Funeral services for William “Billy” Minter Parker, Jr., 71, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, November 25, 2024, at Kilpatrick Funeral Homes in West Monroe, Louisiana. Rickey Smith will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Calhoun, Louisiana, under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, West Monroe. Visitation will be held at 1:00 P.M. until time of service.
    Billy was born on October 26, 1953, in Monroe, Louisiana, and passed away on November 21, 2024. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and retired as maintenance supervisor at Barksdale Air Force Base. Billy was a man of God and had a big heart, who never met a stranger and would help anyone that was in need. He was so kind, caring, very personable, and giving. Billy was a mentor to many. He formerly attended First West and The Assembly, both located in West Monroe. Billy always loved to joke and always had a story to tell. He liked LSU, and golf. Billy was preceded in death by his sister, Susie Phillips; and parents, William and Opal Parker.
    Billy is survived by his wife, Linda Parker; daughters, Krystal Beebe and Traci Beebe; granddaughter, Baylee Day (Micah); and siblings, Joy Winn, Steve Taylor and wife LouElla, Brenda Marsala and husband Charles, Ann Demoss and husband Russell; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Gail Chandler, Rochelle Pittman; and very close friends, Scotty Beebe, Debbie Smith, and Rickey Smith; along with other extended family and friends.
    Pallbearers will be Russell Demoss, Charles Marsala, Jared Demoss, Damon Marsala, and Micah Green.
    Honorary pallbearers will be Scotty Beebe and Brian Demoss.
