    can't beat something for nothing Ryan I had a lovely privet but the last frost here killed it. but going to try another soon. cheers for another good video Ryan.keep up the good work.

    Hi Ryan another freeby mate looking very nice I do love them, I have just pruned my large privet quite hard, I think it was the third pruning so there will be another before autumn , as you say you do have to be careful with branches that are old they can snap very easily. On your earlier video you mentioned not turning your trees enough, I was finding it hard due to being in my eighties so I bought a load of plastic turntables from Temu at under 4 quid each, first I bought a couple flat ones that were useless so went for the taller type, so now I can just give them a turn as I walked past, they take quite heavy trees with no problem, they will be fine with the size of the privet you are working on, the privet is now looking great Ryan the apex is coming along always difficult with this type of tree,worth a few quid now not bad for nothing mate.
