Reading ISN on BMW ECU using ACDP Module 3

Hello, I have a question can module 3 ACDP Read all ISN’s including for FEM?
I apologize if my my question is unclear. I’m new to programming German/ European vehicles.

A friens did the same thing but without the adapter, he used the PCAN cable, he real all okey got the isn number and backout of it, he install all back and make dealer key but did not work. Another locksmith went and when he read isn again it came back as 00000000000000000 . Do you know whats the error here and how to fix so we know next time. Thank you great video explanation, we will be buying this adapters make it easy

Hi Adalberto, maybe using the PCAN cable it is possible the ISN was corrupted or the other locksmith might have just failed to read correctly. I think the issue is most likely to have been the method used to make the dealer key. Reading the ISN is the smaller part of the job. Hope that helps. Thanks
