Simply the most beautiful park in the world.
It is definitely up there with the best 🥰
The children are all perfect aged for this park. They will never forget it.
They loved it! (So did we) ♥️
I’d say Efteling is such a perfect family trip. If I’ll ever end up having children, I would consider it my duty to impart them experiences of this park. And even now, just going there with my friends, it’s fun every time.
@jarmoliebrand2005 it is such an incredible place. Our daughter has spoken about emit ever since we went, we can’t wait to be back this summer!
@@disneyanddaysout I guess I’m really quite blessed to live rather in rather close proximity to this amazing park. It’s at least an annual visit for me. And it’s a magical feeling every time. Every time, you get transported to that other world. Completely immersed by it. Can I quote Villa Volta’s preshows? Yes. Can I hum along to nearly every musical track? Yes. And yet I’m still surprised a little every time, because this great attention to detail is so immaculate. Hey, there’s a unicorn in Droomvlucht! Hey, there’s this guy who’s in an underwater prison in Fata Morgana (he’s having a rough day)! Hey, Max gets his head stuck when you finish a ride of Moritz! You’re always going to see at least something you haven’t noticed before.
@jarmoliebrand2005 it is now becoming an annual visit for us too as a family. It is just such an amazing place 😍
32:00 you guys captured an amazing meteor, I think. I guess the universe decided to do it's part with the magic, and gave you a little extra :)
Oh wow we hadn’t noticed that before! Thank you for pointing it out 💫
A bolid wow
Dreamflight will forever be my favourite ride
It is the absolute best ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Best park in the world!!!!(it's all in the details ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️)
It is wonderful ♥️
Oh man that Droomvlucht music, the nostalgia 😭
It is so good!
15:28 here in the netherlands, we have a cartoon that takes place in this exact fairytale forest with all the characters. Every episode the tree (The fairyale tree) opens with this exact line of dialouge.
'Hello kind children,
Normally, here in the fairy tale forest, we all live happily ever after. But there was once a day where that wasn't the case' and then the episode goes on
That’s awesome! We will have to look it up ❤️
The most magical place ... we love efteling ❤ every kid deserves a trip to Efteling and sprookjesbos (fairytale forrest)❤
It is magical ❤️
12:47 the mirror freaked me out so much as a teen, I still avoid it! Haha
We can see why!
The story of your mother and droomvlucht really touched me. Not having my grandmothers around anymore but still having all the lovely memories from waiting in line cause it's the only ride they went on. Sometimes on summer days waiting for over 2 hours in cue.. oh time flies
That’s what we love about these trips, all of the memories made ❤️
A wonderful fairytale park. I would love to visit here.
It is a special place
Yup and once again '' As finishing touch God created the Dutch''
this is so cool!
I thoroughly enjoyed the vlog! Dreamflight is my favourite as well. 25:15 btw is so lovely. A great example of how to parent ❤
Aww thank you 😊 we are glad that you
Enjoyed it ♥️
Hi guys! That walk around the fairy story scenes was so much fun, definitely worth the time it took to see it all!
We'll definitely have to try those spiral crisps and the other treats looked good too!
That fairy ride looked so beautiful and calming, we hope your mum enjoyed as much as she wanted to, Olly?
Wherever we get to visit it we'll have to make sure that we have plenty of coins as I love those collectable toys in the eggs that Finley and Primrose were getting!
That water/light show was so beautiful, I don't know if my Dan would agree but I think it was much better than the couple of Disney ones we've seen - the Efteling one was so pretty and relaxing, whereas WDW try too hard to crowbar their projections and effects in.
The whole park looked stunning at night!
Can't wait to see next weeks video! ❤
The Fairytale Forest was amazing and a real highlight.
The snacks and food were so good, we didn’t have a single bad thing.
My mum loved it and we have all booked to go back next summer ♥️
Wow, you did a great job of capturing Aquanura! It's lovely to see you all enjoying this wonderful Themepark! Think I'm going myself this week if the weather is not acting crazy 😅
Thank you 😊 - ah that’s amazing, have fun 🤩
@@disneyanddaysout Thank you!
That looks like a pretty darn cool park. This is what Disney wanted to be. Very cool. LIKE 72. 👍👍👍
It is amazing!
It's a fun tale that walt went to the Efteling and used it as inspiration for his Disney parks. He was in Europe but the is no proof he went to the Efteling though it still could be possible.
So many lovely memories 😊
Yes, we have made some wonderful ones here ♥️
The evening ticket will give you entrance only for the evening. A regular day ticket also gives you access to the park in the evening. They wont kick out people with a day ticket when the evening starts.
Thank you for clarifying and that makes sense 🥰
Yeah I was also trying to figure out how that would work :) Like there would be some fairytale cops on the hunt for parents and their little children in the park who don't have the special evening ticket and then escorting them out as the evening sets in :)
Love this video. Looks you all had a great time. Great videoskills as well. 👍🏻
Thank you so much, that means a lot. We’re glad you enjoyed it ♥️
What a lovely video! So glad you all loved the fairytale forrest. Efteling is my favorite park. I am gonig in 2 weeks and i can't wait for it.
It is amazing! Amazing that you will be going in 2 weeks, have a wonderful time ♥️
Didn't see anyone else mention it. 4:31 the gnome in the house says: "Hey, there is nobody here for me, not over there either? Oh well, i am probably mistaken." Basically checking for guests, but he seems to be blind as a bat.
Ah that’s awesome to know, thank you ☺️
Best capture of Aquanura I have ever seen, including a meteorite, did you make your wish????
Aww thank you 😊- we didn’t see it until we watch the recording back! Amazing to have in camera
It makes me really happy you didn't cut into Aquanura. This show is so amazing it's worth visiting just to see that. Don't get me wrong; it's an incredible park you should check out when you're near, but even if you visit the park and skip the park it will be a trip not wasted if you see Aquanura imo that's how amazing that is. And don't say "it's just a fountain and a lamp; we have one in our local park as well", yeah so do I, but this is the third largest show of its kind on this planet and you can't understand the full scope of it until you're standing there.
It truly was a wonderful display and unlike any we have seen before. Thank you for watching 😊
13:27 In honour of Efteling's 15th anniversary, the fairy tale the Indian Water Lilies, which Queen Fabiola of Belgium had written in 1955 as one of the 12 fairy tales in the collection Los doce Cuentos maravillosos, was realised in the Fairytale Forest. Oh and the music in the background "Afrikaan Beat" is a song by German composer and orchestra leader Bert Kaempfert
Thank you for letting us know, that’s really awesome
dreamflight starts here 18:17
Such an incredible ride 😍
Aquanura is also so beautiful. My daughter 9 years old always wanted to see that. But it's most beautiful in the dark
It is a wonderful way to end the evening. We got drinks and snacks to enjoy with the show 🤩
At +/- 1:30 there was stated that the evening was for an extra price. That isn’t so.
Every day guest (and hotel guest) can be at the Efteling from opening until closure. And if the park is closing at 23:00 you don’t have to be at the gate at that time.
The only thing is that there is an discount ticket, if you be at the gates at (for example) 19:00 you pay a discounted price and not a complete day ticket for admission.
But a great vlog about our national pride , many many Dutch people have a special attachment with this park.
Thank you for the information, a few people have let us know and it makes more sense! I did wonder how they would have managed it otherwise 😆
Such lovely footage, I can’t believe I missed the golden geese - twice 🤣
Fin was not going to let us miss them, he was so excited to find them! X
And don’t forget that some of these fairy tales are 60 or 70 yrs old!
Every European fairytale where written in the 1800s not the 1960s or the 1950s.🤨
@@marlonrvlogs they mean the physical rendition of the fairy tale in the forest, not the actual fairy tales ofc
@@marlonrvlogs Name me the ones that were presented in a park in the 1800's!!And since you are a an "expert", where should have been written without an H!!
@@SuperDutchjohn English isn't my first language Dutch/Flemish is my first language because i am from Belgium in Europe and there were no Attraction parks in Europe about fairytales in the 1800’s one of the first Attraction park in Europe about fairytales is De Efteling in the Netherlands that was opened in 1955 the same year as Disneyland Anaheim California.👌🏻🇪🇺
Wow! the fairytale forest was amazing and interesting. Seeing Rapunzel let down her hair brought memories of Rapunzel story when we were kids. The night show of the musical fountains was spectacular. Not to forget the Ice cream Donut looked yummyyy.. Looking forward to Day 2.😊😊
It really felt like the heart of Efteling. It was so magical, much bigger than we expected and with incredible detail. You feel like you are in the fairy tales!
@@disneyanddaysout Yes I agree with you
@@travelandexplore4133 Fairytale Forrest is indeed the heart and soul of Efteling. It was what got it all started, in the 1950's after the idea was born to transform the small sports and recreational park that was at that location into a larger and more entertaining park, to increase tourism in the area. Anton Pieck, a famous Dutch designer and artist at the time, designed the first 10 fairy tales that were build in the new park. Only later the Efteling started to focus more on rides. The steam carrousel was build in in 1956. Next one up was the Haunted Castle that opened in 1978, which was closed down in 2022. The first rollercoaster, the Python, was opened in 1981.
@@disneyanddaysout the fairytale forest really kind of is the heart of the park, as the oldest fairytales date back to 1952 :) Efteling is definitely a pride of my country!
Wow the girl @16:27 reminds me of an actress, a young Kirsten Schaal maybe? Very pretty.
shoutout for moms ! ❤
♥️♥️♥️
In Droomvlucht. The scene after the corridor with the stars. You get these floating castles on planets. Unfortunately the big ones that should hang in in the front middle got destroyed during a recent renovation. They are rebuilding them.
Ah that’s a shame. We look forward to seeing them in full next year when we go back ♥️
Damaged, not destroyed 😉. Last news is that they are coming back restored next month. They made them kind of a jigsaw to get them in again. They needed a crane in 1991 to get them in the attraction, but that's impossible at the moment. So they try this solution now.
@joehoe222 it will be great to see the difference next year
Efteling got 1 hotel and 2 Holiday resorts, Bosrijk and Loonsche Land.
And soon to be a 2nd hotel when the new one opens next year
I'm glad you like it at Efteling. If you went on this ride, please let me know what you thought of Carnival Festival... Some people find the puppets offensive, but I don't know what all the fuss is about? Maybe they're seeing things I don't see, once I'm on that ride?
Efteling is wonderful! We have already booked to go back next year ♥️ Carnival Festival is in our next vlog, it was a fun ride and our daughter especially loved it! We still have the music stuck in our heads though 😂
@disneyanddaysout Yes it's nice, my youngest child loves it also.
I love the fairytale forest and Droomvlucht. Droomvlucht is so beautifully made and really to dream. Efteling has such beautiful themed trips. The Frozenland is to be opened in 2024 and I'm so excited. This is to be opened in the summer of 2024. Unfortunately, I can't make it to Efteling in 2024, because 2024 is already planned with something else.
We have booked for August 2024, so are very excited to see all the new additions ♥️
We were there in 2022 and now in 2023. I’m in England and Disneyland Paris and Maldives in 2024, so unfortunately not in 2024
@@my_family_and_more881 oooh exciting! You have some awesome trips booked in. We have our first trip to Disney World in Florida booked for next year and we cannot wait!!
Oh, I’ve already been to Florida, but it’s already a bit old. Disneyland World is very big, but I think there are 5 parks and there are also two water parks. Was 2017 in Disneyland Hong Kong or is also mega
I thought the frozen stuff was going to be a disney Paris expansion.
All I know is that efteling is getting a new spooky themed area and ride in 2024
i wish i could have seen ur moms reaction on the dreamflight afterwards
She absolutely loved it 🥰
All the music what you hear in the dark rides, coasters and shows is specially compost for the Efteling.
The music of Indische Waterlelies is African beat by Bert Kaempfert.
You missed Chinese nightingale in the fairytale forest.
Yes, it is wonderful 🥰 we have been listening to it a lot since our trip.
I think there are a few we have missed, but will make sure we see them all next visit ♥️
@@disneyanddaysout you missed even more.
The fakir on his flying carpet with the tulips
The girl with the sulfur sticks/matches
Cinderella
Some fun facts: The final part in Droomvlucht where you spiral downwards used to go a lot faster, but they slowed it down to make it more family friendly . That also includes how fast that last troll pops out from behind the tree at the end. There's an urban legend that someone got such a fright that it gave that person a heart attack.
The Indian Waterlillies is based on a fairy tale written by the then queen of Belgium. Here's the music they use for it: ruclips.net/video/vGmR2dJSDvo/видео.html
Some great facts, thanks! We have been listening to Afrikaan Beat on repeat 😂
Omagosh! That's why it felt slower when I went because I remember feeling much more wind going down the spiral. This explains it. I wonder what year they made the change.
I got jumpscared by that troll when I was a kid. It really frightened me
@jelbecornelis3139 I got jump scared on our first ride 😂
@@disneyanddaysout yeah you learn quickly that that troll is there
Maybe an added note. I'm not sure it's still active, but the wand from pardoes that the children got were originally gimmicks. When purchased in the park there are/were several spots in the park that would activate small special effects.
We had read this, and have seen the points but unfortunately they no longer work. We have seen this may have been due to the chip shortage issues
It does work but that special torch they dont sell that anymore.
@remypattiruhu1708 we heard that they changed them after the chip shortage.
Love your vlog! But when you are staying at Efteling, Bosrijk, Loonsche Land, or Efteling hotel you get breakfast included. Also you can order grocceries to come be delivered to your cottage/stay. We did that in Loonsche Land. All the things we needed. Gifts you buy in the parc you can also have them delivered to your cottage/room, so you don't have to walk around the parc all Day 😊.
By the way, your commentants/pronouncements are good, very good excualy. Dutch is an terrible language to learn, and Efteling is quit good with other languages, but most in dutch. You are doing great
We will make sure to double check the breakfast on our next stay 😊 useful tips about purchases too. Thank you for your kinds words, but we hope to be even better at our pronunciations next trip ♥️
The vending machine with the chicken where the egg comes out, I didn't see that at all. Where was that?
It was located near the carousels and the museum. There are two that we found, plus a blacksmith one that gives you an awesome pin 🥰
Strange, I must have been really blind. Next time I’ll take a closer look
@@my_family_and_more881 lots of exciting things happening in the parks though 😊
Yes, this place is very magical
You found them mostly near the Museum & the old kermis, there more of this kind of small images of fairy tales, where you receive a small souvenir for € 2.= in this area, but "Ezeltje Strikje" (The pooping Donkey) is also one of them.
This is not a "1 or 2 day" park, but an "every year again" park.😊
Dreamflight i hope it will be there for a long time the ride opend in 1993
We hope so too! Such a wonderfully magical ride ♥️
What did you use to film this? Images are so crisp...
Thank you.
😊 We use a Sony A7C with a 24mm lens.
We have a long neck and a short neck and now we have only short neck
🤩Gosh it gets more magical every time
Repunzal Repunzal let down your hair
That’s also a good lesson about the goats 🐐 and a wolf 🐺
Hansel & Gretel
I’m glad that Mickey Donald & Goofy rescue a magical singing Harp from Willie the Giant who stole her in
Mickey & The Beanstalk
I couldn’t imagine them stealing a magnificent golden goose like in Jack & The Beanstalk
It is such a magical park ♥️
Mickey and Donald are not even remotely part of the Efteling :) It is actually the other way around in a way as The Efteling is older Disneyland. Efteling is one of the oldest theme parks in the world. Disney definately took some inspiration from The Efteling when he created his first theme park :)
We read that he may have visited before creating Disneyland. Also imagineers have consulted Efteling on various aspects too.
Disney is older than the Efteling Disney is this year 100 years old and The Efteling was last year 60 years old and Mickey mouse an Donald duck are older than the Efteling.😎👌🏻
@@marlonrvlogs I’m aware of this i wasn’t born yesterday u know
a little corection by around 2 minutes you said that you can only vistit the park after 6.00 pm with a night ticket but that is not true
You are right, you can buy tickets for just access after 6. I got it the wrong way around 😅
You vlog people are igoring
