To quote from the Wikipedia article on the song, "In an October 2021 article in The New Yorker, McCartney wrote that his inspiration for 'Eleanor Rigby' was an old lady who lived alone and whom he got to know very well. He would go shopping for her and sit in her kitchen listening to stories and her crystal radio set."

I liked Yellow Submarine, but then again I'm weird, just like the movie. 😋 So long as you aren't put off by deliberately silly nonsense in a movie, you may like Yellow Submarine. The basis for the movie is that a land of music and love is invaded by "Blue Meanies" who hate music and love, and one person escapes and finds The Beatles and asks them for help. It's a silly but fun romp which shows off Beatles songs.
There's a documentary on Disney+ about them, it's a side of them I've not seen covered in other media. The '1' album was the first album I got, it's a pretty good catch all of their most popular songs and I can't deny there's some real bops on there. It's also in chronological order, so you can hear the tonal change when psychedelics began to affect the direction of their music.
