Hold on.The BioPace wasn't really oval,it looked closer to an imperfectly-drawn circle. But of course, that's where the biomechanical advantages of the Biopace are from.
Sweet, congratulations, lovely. I too have been using absolute black oval, my knees love it.😂 I use the Cane Creek preloader, but on my Race Face Alas cranks, they are quite stiff, but not light.
That is one sweet bottom bracket and crank set-up. I think you'll love the Absolute Black chainring. I'm loving mine. I noticed a slight difference in pedaling at first, but after 5-10 minutes it just seems normal. Talk about a mudfest. Looked liked too much fun to me. And thank god you left the nipple in the edit! Keep doing you, bud. Good stuff!
My new Build has BOX One X-Wide 11 speed, with 11-50T, and 32T oval.but I need to stock up on longer chains, cus I had to add 7 links to a 144 chain. I went for 11 speed cus I use all of the gears in between.
@@SteadySpin all need that, The Nicolai/Geometron G1 is a lot stiffer, so I hope I won't bend cogs and teeth on this bike. I think I need the 122 link chains, so far it's dialed in, so will see how it will perform soon, till waiting for few parts to make the build complete. if teeth or cogs bend they the chain will skip, or if if not adjusted properly or chain is too long.
I don’t have expensive with either one, but i have seen the Advent 9 speed shifter in person. I prefer Box because with the advent shifter you have to use your index finger to downshift, which means you have to take that finger off the brake lever.
Everyone always say "New" and then "Neo". If my education serves me and I hope that it does for what it cost, doesn't the definition of the word "Neo" already mean New?? Such a bearing type is great BUT I depends upon the application. Most of these types pf bearings were produced to work in in cold temps as mentioned within the food industry (5 degrees F to minus 45 degrees F). You need to impregnate the polymer with a different type of oil in order to work correctly In much warmer temps. Heat equals oil release then cooling down cause the oil to be reabsorbed bu the polymer. It is a great concept. However it will never be serviceable, making it strictly an R squared option and at that price should it be strictly remove and replace instead of serviceable? Depends on your pocket.
Shaggy in Knoxville put a set of those cranks on his Nomad and they are baller for sure. How do you like that ring? Did you shed any weight on the Bronson?
Has anybody 'felt' how smooth WHEELS MANUFACTURING BB'S re compared to CANE CREEK or even CHRIS KING? (don't chime in stupidly if you have not, stay quiet)

to make my new bike even more expensive, turn it too the max, I would have to get Cane Creek titanium cranks, get TrickStuff Maxima, with Carbon master cylinder covers, get titanium axles, bolts, carbon rims, and Onyx hubs, most expensive Sram Eagle chain or KMC DLC chain did I for get something?😂
@@SteadySpin my G1 has EXT Stora LOK V3 , got all the adjustments needed, Fox 36 with Vorsprung coil conversion, it's going to be sweet shredding machine. I posted some pics on flickr and instagram, but Will post pics of complete build eventually.
Dude at 5:13 made this video awesome.
Thanks. Picking up the game one edit at a time
Great upgrade! Those cranks are definitely on my short list, and I love the fact that Cane Creek offers a Veterans discount!
Gifford Holmquist Great people.
The cranks are love. Will never spend 1k on cranks but I sure like looking at them on others bikes
You don’t have to. Use my steadyspin discount code for 20% off your entire order.

Holy hell Steady that is sick AF. Only thing I am not a fan of is the chrome or silver look. Thanx for the video!
Sqausht Suspension yes, I like simple colors and black is always clean. But I also like white. Hint
There is no space between the balls!?! Hahahaha that was funny! 😂
We try
Sick upgrade!!! Well done.
Thanks brother
Been on the fence about getting a Helm, your coupon code pushed me over the edge haha.
Helm ya!!!!

I need a chain that won’t break and gears that don’t skip

That's one sloppy mess, can't wait to hear about that Prime 9, I might go for one of those over another Advent 9 speed.
Flatwoods MTB you know I will test it well.

@@peterlang5047 That is definitely one of the few downsides, but I haven't run in to an issue with it yet
I loved your new video! 🤤🤤🤤
Thanks brother. Stepped up the game with a lot of new camera gear.
Damn dawg, what a mud fest the duel slalom was
I stayed clean
Awesome video!

Yo sick video! Cane Creek should partner with you more often.
Curt G let them know.

Very true. They give life time Warranty on bearings

Dropped about a quarter pound. The bike feels very smooth now. Drive train on point. What shall we do next.
@@SteadySpin Ah, the mountain bikers tinkering job is never done.
So you got an oval so that it will be round someday
Hoping for the best.
Do you know how much offset the chainring has?
Nope

I dunno. Maybe they need to send me some over
Feeling a bottom bracket by hand with no load on the bearings doesn't mean shit.
How to know which option to order?

can these go on the bmx bike
Maybe

How has the bottom bracket been holding up for you? I'm looking to order one.

I don’t think the spacing works but Steadyspin is 15% off at Box and I know they got you covered.
Shimano Bio-pace
Correct
I have the large version of your bike can you send me the spec parts so I can. I the same upgrade
No longer sponsored by these guys. But they have a great call team to get you dialed in.
Impregnated, mud between balls- what kind of a vid is this? Lol
