But consider that codpiece armour was historically a thing. Not practical, not for common battle, but it existed, so why not "boob piece armour"?. (Also, Shadiversity has a good video about this topic on his channel).
It is proven in some videos I've seen that "boob plate" is absolutely ok. It is no more weak, and all the force does not funnel into a single point at the chest, just like many other segments on the armor, it is smoothed and rounded in the right places that it simply would do as it is meant to do as thick steel and slide a blow off of you. The thing you are claiming to be aweful about boob plate, exists in similar fasion all over armor, not just on boob plate. All of this being said, I agree with bull on the other half of the argument, it leaves something to the imagination and that is half the fun. 😏 But yeah, look up some videos of people explaining why boob plate is no less practical than normal. Actually on another note, in real life we don't have giant Qunari, dragon people swinging axes that are meant for sundering armor at us, so in the case of poor casandra vs bull, she could wear a giant cube of steel completely incasing her body, and I'm sure bull would get to her eventually.
Favorite Sera/Iron Bull Banter for me is Iron Bull comes up with an idea involving picking Sea up and throwing her into the fight and they invent presumably a Tag Team Attack, either Sera or Varric 'cos they are small enough he says to make this ideal plan work to success, that would be super cool to watch I think as well actually, right? By the way, I love Sera's little laugh at certain things she finds funny, it's so adorable.

I bet he’s thinking “oh she doesn’t want to talk about it, but I don’t want to just drop it awkwardly, I’ll compliment her” and then he does, and it’s sincere AND a good strategic choice interpersonally. He’s really good at communicating.
