    I remember they had BYD busses back in 2014 I think and they were only found on line 18. I wonder what made them change their minds about having BYD busses again.

      bribes from China. No, seriously that is literally qhat BYD bases it's buissnes model around, since their product is sub-par.

      Likely BYD made improvements since then which enticed LACMTA to give them another try

      @@gdrriley420Yeah. These buses literally have less capacity than ordinary 40 feet buses. Why not get xe40’s or xe60’s like the orange line? BYD more like Build Your Disaster

      Is it going to replace NABI 45 compo buses into this for silver line?

      @@Georgetiger26 At this time no, it’s not their time yet. I believe Metro is still doing testing on them to make sure if they are fit for service on the silver line but if the testing is a success then they may start eventually replacing the NABI 45 compo buses sadly.

      @@Georgetiger26 but I really love the NABI 45s my favorite buses in the LACMTA bus fleet the best looking compo buses.
