hey i've done everything I could on this as my HP does not seem to have some options for the legacy. USB is not recognised no matter what. Is there anything else you can share regarding this?
edit: whole installation process went smooth after booting in usb2 flash drive lower than 16gb

Didn't need to open flap to disconnect ribbon cable. Unplug from hard drive. Pulls right out

does usb iso have to be in mbr or or gpt when using rufus to make bootable drive
First check your windows system volume if it is in mbr or gpt by going to My pc > right click mouse > goto manage > disk management > properties > volume
don't have select usb flash drive option at 1.47

Everything as your screen until I press ESC and select USB drive, and it just tells me to insert the installation CD
it could be in the wrong usb port that what happened on mine

Mine doesn't have the usb boot option, only cd rom boot
THIS. I've been having the same problem and I can't find ANY help online. The reason it's not booting is clearly because it's disabled, but somehow there's no way for us to enable it??? Idk but it's really annoying
I know just copy the file in the usb if u have then watch a video of how to boot with cd
try enabling legacy mode save the settings and reboot. Also enable USB option.
