NOW we’re talking!!! 🤩 🙌
I’ve been waiting for the industry to come out with a .45ACP carbine, and after a slew of 9mm PCCs which came through in the last 2-3 years, Ruger finally came through!
Thank you ruger !! So tired of all these 9mm carbines. About time somebody thinks outside the box and makes something new and innovative !
Exactly
I asked Ruger if they would make a PC Carbine in 45 ACP, and now, it looks like they did! Gosh, I wish I could afford that.
How can't you afford that
I can afford this when it’s in 10mm
Exactly! PCC in 10mm or nothing.
Prices are out of control...their kissing butt to government and making deals causing prices to sky rocket..or something similar...the prices should be going down its easier to manufacture things today than it was in the past and it was cheap back then but now it's not..????..doesn't make any sense
Why did you even ask then?
This is amazing for home/property defense! I can't wait to get me and my wife one!
I WANT ONE!
Hickok tested this including with a suppressor. It's quiet.
This in 10mm would be Holy ❤️🔥
Charger
please say the 10MM version comes out next month.
Charger
@@mudpuppy4930 that would be good as well.
Sootch just did a vid on this guy. This is awesome. Definitely want it in 10mm
Last year I got the 75th. Anniversary Ford F-150. I feels like it's time for a 75th. Anniversary Ruger 10-22 this year.
They have been announced already for well over a month
ordered it over the weekend. Can't wait to take this to the range.
This 45 carbine is badass 🔥
Charger
God bless thank you Eric
Stop spending my future money!!!!!!
verrrry interesting!
I’m curious how the charging handle is reversible I heard that is waiting to see more reviews of showing how to do it
This entire week, I got up with every intention of going to the range, but just didn't. Today, I went cause I needed to. Guess what my local shop had in stock. Yup, this gun. This has been on my unicorn wish list FOREVER. Guess what I took home with me today. Yup, this gun. Next up; Henry .357 Dark series.
This looks exciting! I dabbled in over a dozen 45acp carbines over the past decade. Everything was a pc ‘o shit (except for the $$$CMMG Banshee)
I adore my Marlin camp45 , but it’s not reliable and constantly breaks parts. Most carbines only run somewhat reliable with 230gr RN Ball, JHP & RNFP’s choke every time . I’ll have to check this out.
Wouldn't mind if they made this in 10mm
If someone would do a 1911 based 10mm carbine so I don't have to buy more mags for another platform I'd die a nearly happy man
45 is subsonic unlike 10mm so it can be suppressed
@@parisford2020 you're new to guns huh?
@@parisford2020 now here before you do a little googling and make a candid response, .45acp is in most loadings subsonic and more optimal to be suppressed sure. 10mm is in most loadings is supersonic, BUT (hold on with me here buddy) it can also be loaded to subsonic velocities, is it optimal? Nah, not really. But that isn't the point to being with. Why even bother having a 16" length barrel for a round that would gain little from the barrel length and can be fired from a shorter barrel, while suppressed and make complete powder burn anyway? A 16" carbine in 10mm would be great for its price to its competitors: ex. CMMG Banshee in 10mm. But yes sure, .45acp is subsonic (in most loadings) and can be fired suppressed, great job!
The big difference is between a .45acp and 10mm is the ballistic performance of the round with greater velocity and ballistic coefficient from a 16" barrel at a significantly cheaper buying price to other 10mm PCCs in the current market. There is certainly nothing wrong with a .45 carbine that Ruger has come out with, but given that they have now completely designed a receiver and action that can potentially be made to fire a better round shows promise that later we might be getting a more power PCC later in the year. Hopefully.
Also nice!!
Got the hoodie on to try and hind at SHOT lol.
I have a hi point to see what it is like, but there is a 5 inch barrel 12 gauge with HUXWRX silencer and this is by Genesis Arms, and it is sweet, I would love to see this as an SBR option and silencer, for home defense.
TAKE MY MONEY NOW!!!!
A pistol with a Bone Steel Arms side folding brace would be nice. I'm a big Glock 21 fan so this would be nice.
My department just switched to 9mm duty guns. We got to buy our old Glock 21 duty guns at a good price. Considering they share magazines. This would be a great pair with it.
10mm
That should be a 45super
Damn big ''carbine''.
With the stock folded it's shorter than anything that doesn't require a tax stamp.
How much?
Whatever happened to Marlin's Camp 45?
Outdated
Marlin made good lever action rifles and carbines. Though their semi-auto Camp Carbines were of lesser quality.
Who is going to make 460 Rowland and 40 super conversion kits
Wonder how much velocity it picks up with this barrel length? Very interesting.
u dont use pcc's for velocity
It does pick up velocity, and I would like to see a good Chrono of a 4 in barrel versus a 10 in barrel and again at 16, probably not a Huge amount, but have seen video of 100 yard and it really a flat shooter. I have a Hi Point and it does well.
@@parisford2020 I’m just curious how much it adds…I don’t particularly see the advantage of a PCC but maybe in this cartridge it would be interesting
@@parisford2020longer barrel typically means higher velocity.
It doesn't matter what the gun is for, it's physics.
Carbines in .45 ACP gain an average of 15% in velocity. Some of the +P bullets can get close to the energy seen from .44 Mag revolvers.
10mm ??
Want
10????
Ytf do they keep making shit in 45acp? We all want 10mm!!!
I don't care about 10mm at all.
.45 coming out of a long barrel is bound to pickup some speed…it might be pretty impressive
nah the whole point is its slow subsonic to run suppressed but packs heavy punch@@larryblake7554
If everyone wanted 10 mm the buyer demand would sway the market. Truth is only trend junkies and band wagon jumpers are the people whining about 10 mil.
AR15 platform pcc's are always going to be better all around than something like this unless it's inexpensive...which this is not inexpensive.
Yeah, I honestly don’t even know why a gun like this exists.
Ar platform PCCs will always be 8 inches longer unless you tax stamp it. This form factor or bullpup is best for pcc imo. Largest slug you can get.
@@Joncenalol235 , not if you get a pistol.
@@curly__3then it’s a pistol, not a carbine
@@user-cu3ok8ij5b reversible, adjustable, folding stock, reversible/ambi controls, Glock mags, suppressor ready, super short ...affordable ($800ish street) and in 45 acp. No way i'd buy an AR-9 over this for defensive purposes. No comparison.
Eric sounds sick.. shot ahow crude, I'm guessing
It's nice to see new carbine models that are actual carbines, not lame pistols with braces pretending to be carbines.
Eric, are you ok buddy? Are you sick?
He is getting divorced, he doesn't look well here.
He’s probably done a ton and a half talking so his voice might be shot
I noticed that too! Hopefully all gets better for him.
10mm I want 10mm
We need 10mm not 45 apc
Poor fellow has been putting in work. Sounds like you're losing your voice. Thanks Eric!
Where is the ammo a gun with out ammo is a paper weight
God damn longer Eric is in Vegas more he looks like he belongs in fear and loathing.
"Bat country"
Tell me you brought the fk'n golf shoes...
You look like assassin creed
First time seeing this guy in years, what happened? Whole appearance changed.
The price is too high.... I'll go to Highpoint because of price...
Hi point is junk though
@@889976889the carbine they make has gotten good reviews. What beats its $249 price even when doubled?
So Ruger copied HiPoint for 3x the money...😆😆🤣🤣😁😁
Why is the unabomber at shot show
😂🤣😱😳
So tired of 10MM suggestions. Why not .357 sig my dudes??? Never heard of that have you
Dead round
Do they still make that?
@@chizorama ya, this guy and like 2 other people still use it
10mm is far superior
And it’s not even in 10mm, what a waste
Right!!! .45 is antiquated.
