I am going to make this recipe! My daughter goes to France every year. She taught me to make a soup with leeks and potatoes. French hospital soup. Potage . So delicious with white wine and fresh thyme. I live in central California.

Living in Gorbio really is like living in the past! It is so beautiful (and peaceful) to see the stone houses, narrow streets, and alleys - but the best part - there are no cars in the village! I love that there are flowers in February - both cultivated roses and wild dandelions growing and reaching for sunshine. It is truly lovely!

Back in the 70’s I visited a French penpal friend living in Martinique. She made lunch serving leeks. It was delicious. Your video reminded me of that lunch.
