i don't know much about the 1975, my sister is a fan and heard her playing this song while doing the dishes and i've been listening to it on repeat since 😂 can't work out why it's so transfixing to me though, it's a generic chord progression and yet it still feels so original and nostalgic? like it could continue playing on a loop for hours and it wouldn't annoy me... idk
