Take your medicine alongside your Holy Communion ? Why can't we just take the HC only and skip the medicine if one has such unshakeable faith in the healing power of the HC? He is trying to shield himself from blame in case the person who takes only the HC isn't healed. I didn't say you should skip the medicine will be the defence. You can't ride two horses at once !
Wisdom I suppose... Medicine knowledge is also from God

You must cover yourself just in case the person taking the HC only isn't healed. You can say in defence that you didn't ask him to skip the medicine. But if the person is healed, then you take credit for teaching the HC as such.

@@veralinc8117 you have a point there ..since he is in a position of influence one can take what he said out of context...But I believe both ways God still gets the full credit whether through HC or medicine...not the preacher
God gave wisdom to man to create medicine, man himself is created by God..God gets all the glory for healing let that be holy communion or medicine..Jesus gets the glory even while we are breathing..because of Jesus we are existing and alive today..
