Do you think I could use this on my banisters? I'm redoing them. I'll be sanding them down a bit and would like to stain them a darker color. Right now they are golden oak.

Can it be put over factory finish. With just a scuff sand.

Do you put a finish on after the gel glaze? If so what do you use? Thanks so much!!!

What is the easiest way to get out sponge marks when you start to drag the sponge from the edge of the cabinet top to the other side...This stuff dries really fast and I can't get it to smooth out. Also, when I put it on the wood it leaves a spot where the drops of gel stain are put on. The spots are VERY difficult to get out! Any advice? We like the color but we just can't get it to smooth out to look professional...Thank you for your help!
