    This channel has been my favourite channel in PoE now, as a new player its so nice that you go into details without making it complicated, also giving information about every single thing is just a gem! Keep up the great work man!

    Sextants are being removed in 3.24, and both Scarabs and the Atlas tree are being reworked a LOT more than expected.
    We don't have information on the new Scarabs yet, but the Atlas tree now makes it easy to have Einhar in 100% of your maps.
    This is a buff!

    If you are only doing beast farming in maps, its more worth to do in solo if you do the map. In a group you would have to split and because only one person gets guaranteed beasts, its much less per hour if you add it up. Where it is useful is beast memory farming, since that is expensive and less available and you wanna get the most out of every memory.

    Haven't watched yet, but with changes to Masters - i plan to spec into Masters fully to run them on T1-T4 maps + essences
    Should be super easy (T1-T4 maps) and alot of currency (Alva double corrupt Temple, Craicic Chimeral, Veiled Orb + essences)

    • @PathofEvening
      @PathofEvening  7 месяцев назад

      That sounds like a fun setup!

    • @Olden_son
      @Olden_son 7 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, i tried it before, and it has few benefits that not so obvious from first glance.
      1.) It starts to log in after 29 atlas points with Alva temple. This alone starts to bring divines semi consistently
      2.) With All Hands Keystone - you can forget about scarabs or clicking Master on Atlas machine. Its almost like alch-n-go, no investment required (yet it benefits to get sextants and scarabs, but not necessary for this strat)
      Now with changes to Masters - it's even better. I will test it this league in comparison to other good profit strats like Breach Chayula Breachstone farm or Boss rush with Conq Maps + Harby fracture orb farm. If Veiled Orb will be 2d or even more - this start should be even better then boss rush
      On top of that - i'll spec essences, cause they're close and i'll farm t1-4 maps, which is well synergized with essence farm strat

    You are right, you should avoid getting your menagerie full and replacing beasts. One thing to add is the mechanic doesn't work as its supposed to. It doesn't actually replace the oldest beast, but kinda at random. Also, im pretty sure the cap is not global, instead you can have a certain amount of a specific kind of beast (like primates, arachnids, etc.)

    • @PathofEvening
      @PathofEvening  7 месяцев назад

      Good call. Little bit of extra complexity there, as is usually the case with PoE!

    Do you push for your 2 void stones and then fall back or do you run those start(beast and essence) before the two void stones and if you get your 2 void stones before what dose your early atlas look like to get map drops? Thank you in advance for your time!
    Edit: Do you have and Atlas Planner Link for the Strat?

    • @PathofEvening
      @PathofEvening  7 месяцев назад +2

      There's not really a wrong answer on whether to push for Voidstones first and then fall back, or to farm up beforehand and cruise through it later, but if your build can comfortably get the Voidstones first without any extended farming, that will set you up for more success later on.
      We're working on a video about setting up the atlas tree for that initial Voidstone push, and on a collection of possible early tree setups when you're between 2 & 4 Voidstones!

      I farmed harvest beast memories during the start of affliction which was nice and profitable. Some useful info here about regular beast farming that I didn’t appreciate! Looking forward to the next video!

  • @Reflec999

    You don't need to go to your menagerie to release your beast, you can do it even while in a map.

  • @sivzzz3008
    @sivzzz3008 7 месяцев назад

    If you can do T16s, its really worth it. There are a bunch of beasts that are more expensive than fenumals and craicics and can only be found in higher level areas. Only for a week or so tho. They still retain some value after that, but craicics surpass them quickly.

    • @PathofEvening
      @PathofEvening  7 месяцев назад

      It's something you can transition into, for sure. Being able to farm up access to bosses like Farrul can be super valuable early when supply is low.

  • @hollowman7381

    They removed the ability to activate a instant skill on left click so you can't use withering step in this manner without the use of the new trigger support gem which increases mana cost and cooldown of the skill.
    Just letting you know in case you missed it.

    • @PathofEvening
      @PathofEvening  7 месяцев назад

      Yeah, it's annoying. The four options right now are to self-cast it on another keybind, use the new Automate Support, use the numlock trick to automate it, or to pray that GGG change their minds.
      None of those are great, but it is what it is. They make changes, we adjust.

    been watching your videos and its making want to start pf, wanted to know what do you think is better at 30-50d budget if wanted to do ur harvest maven farm, pf tr or elem ea?

    • @PathofEvening
      @PathofEvening  7 месяцев назад +1

      We're pretty biased toward TR PF!
      EA Elementalist is a great starter build, too. It doesn't have the same limitation of having to restart its damage rampup if an enemy moves, so it's more consistent when bossing on a budget. That means it's probably a bit ahead for the Maven Rush strategy.
      If you're playing EA as a Ballista build, which is super common, it's a lot less smooth at mapping, and it doesn't have near the same level of speediness as TR PF. Because of this, EA Ballistas can fall behind TR PF due to the difference in time spent getting to bosses. That won't be a concern early on, but it might be once you're deeper into your gear progression.

    Perfect synergy. You just wanna ZOOM. Only kill essences and valuable red beasts, skip everything else, rinse/repeat and see your profit skyrocket compared to actually killing all beasts... Maybe add in Alva for double corrupts/gem corrupts?

    • @PathofEvening
      @PathofEvening  7 месяцев назад

      Yeah, the ability to do multiple masters at once is such a huge boost to low-level farming!

    • @PathofEvening
      @PathofEvening  6 месяцев назад

      Craicic Chimerals are close to 2 Divines each, so it's a pretty good low-investment strategy!

      @@PathofEvening also what tier map do you need to run to get Craicic Chimerals consistently and are the new bestiary scarabs worth running the map with?

  • @netRunner42
    @netRunner42 6 месяцев назад +1

    Cant see how this will be profitable this league it's just simply to slow against all other money making strategies but hey if you enjoy it and have fun go for it !

    • @PathofEvening
      @PathofEvening  6 месяцев назад +1

      That's the fun thing about currency strategies in PoE, everything can be profitable depending on how you combine it with other mechanics and how quickly you can run it.
      If enough people avoid Beast farming, the prices will rise, and then it will be more profitable! There's always a kind of ebb and flow!

    I find beast farming far too RNG. Even if you go full beast spec it can still take like 40-60 maps til you get a craicic. I've gotten dry spells like 1 every 100 maps.
    There are a lot of beasts worth like 10c+ throughout the league but don't really sell quickly.
    I honestly would prefer not to run it early, but it pairs perfectly with white map essence farming as the higher tier maps add more beasts which lessen chances of craicic.

    • @PathofEvening
      @PathofEvening  7 месяцев назад

      The consistency of Bestiary is a concern, but that's the advantage of combining it with a strategy like Essences. You get the constant value from ol' reliable Essences, and the occasional big reward of a FPA or a CC from Bestiary.
      It may not wind up being the best strategy, but it's worth exploring since the synergy is so good.
