I have a slim with pulsing blue light for 55 seconds (everytime exactly 55). I cant go into safe mode (no second beep). Also the fan starts for a second and stops. Have you encountered this kind of problem?
Can you tell me what of this components are the mosfets? I have shortcircuited the APU i think, all the capacitors from the side B under the APU are short circuited, what can i do?
Amazing, mine stopped playing cd games in december, and still under (extended, crap) warranty, though they can't seem to find parts, ie a full mobo+disc drive to replace it. They were befuddled, first they'd seen like mine, but then seeing this tells me the hardware is obviously shoddy and not built to last. You're right, I was thinking the same, they're going backward to the ps3 (and xbox) with ylod and surface mount chips popping off boards.
Hey
Maybe you should check the MOSFETs around the shortened area .
I had the same problem then I found 1 shorted MOSFET!
Good video btw.
