As a new seller with 5 sales, I always have to wait 15 days after the buyer pays. Tracking number is not involved.

Just another bad system for occasional sellers!! Am not new to eBay, and they are holding my funds for no reason!! The fees are over the top now, not a good experience at all.
Every platform holds fees now to protect buyers. It builds trust with buyers.

i made a eBay account last week ive sold like 10 items and still selling and postage is about 4.50 and I'm waiting 15 days buy the time i get payed ill have spent like 100 in postage why is eBay doing this all the buyers will have to wait all that's happen is my account could be banned or cancel my items why how am i being screwed over like this

I heard a story where they held a guy’s moeny for 7 months up to $4,300
I would just make threats of a lawsuit at that point if it’s been that long
Got me on the 1-2 business days but now it’s not until it’s delivered to customer.
delivered as in at the customers house or as in drop off / shipped
However is you sell an item over $1000 eBay will automatically hold your funds for 30 days. No way around it!

I sold my first item this morning, went and shipped it two hours later and he should get the item 1-3 days…will my money be on hold still for 90 days or once he receives it will they release it? And does the amount mean anything?
No they don't hold your money for 90 days. Only for a couple of weeks

Ebay drip feeds you your money with their managaed payments. I miss Paypal and getting paid right away.

You'll need to use a credit card so you can fulfill the orders before you get the money

If the payout has been sent it takes a few days for the money to settle in your account. The exact amount of time depends on your bank actually and not eBay

It could be because you're a new seller or you've had some problems on your account
I've been selling on eBay for 4 years. I got them on the phone, Amazing, they tell me there policy has changed and this is the first high dollar item I have sold which is a lie. Then they tell me they'll look into it. But I did record the conversation and they keep changing their story.
And what if I don’t have a tracking number? Will I receive the money only when the order arrives the buyer’s house??

Well Paul that might not work out as some dropshipping companies automatically take credit card payments from my customers and then pay me the difference in the product cost plus shipping leaving me with my margin or profit, so in that case assuming my customers get their order confirmation and tracking number, how do you think this will work??
How are u getting them to pay ur seller first?
@@Imreally007 while some dropshipping companies require you to pay them upfront for each and every order with your credit card many do not as they automatically fulfill customer orders for you saving you time

Instant transfer isn't available for everyone
@@PaulJLipsky I found the issue. I had to switch from daily payout to weekly or monthly then the instant transfer option will appear.
Never using eBay again 😂 they make you pay ridiculous fees plus make you wait. Wayyyy too long for payouts

No you need to upload a tracking number! So always make sure you have one

No that's not the way it works. You need to pay with a credit card first

What do you mean?
They don't pay all at once so I had to use my own money "Working Capital" to cover all the sales I'm getting. When eBay does pay they do it little by little. Instead of my full amount, they pay a few others while the rest is set to be released on the next date... Hopefully, once 3 months is up it will be easier. I just want to make a sale and get paid instantly it would make things so much smoother @@PaulJLipsky Thanks for this video btw

@@Toothbrush22Why are you uploading tracking? It’s done automatically after you take the product you sold to the post office to be shipped. After your item has been delivered to the buyer eBay releases your funds

My account was banned and there are 6 items I needed to ship but I was paid for them. Will I get the money if I ship the items and update the tracking number? (I found a way to mark it shipped and manually put in a tracking number)
