Ulcinj Old town, Montenegro

Due to its exceptional cultural value, the Old Town of Ulcinj is part of Unesco's World Heritage Convention. This magnificent place represents a unique example of the interweaving of the Oriental and Mediterranean urban and architectural concepts. It consists of Gornji (Upper), a military character dominated by Citadel, and Donji (Lower), a civilian settlement.
