A purely marvelous piece of work as usual, Peter. Many thanks for all of the time and labour you put so professionally into these videos. I particularly enjoy picking-up your various tips and tricks, such as swapping-in the AP 319's with all their attendant sound features. That made a huge difference when I cloned the first scenario to try it out.. Tthanks again, and alla best! -Jon
Thanks again for your comment Jon. Unfortunately this time I couldn't point you to the scenario as it's one I created myself. I'm glad you took the opportunity to enjoy the route using the Class 319 with the AP sound pack. I'm sure they will update their sound pack soon to include both Class 319s :)
Wills Gray-north it's something I've thought about. I briefly experimented with it on the Coulsdon Town to Victoria video, where you see the train go past Purley Oaks at speed from the platform. I feel these videos need to mainly be in the cab, but I will consider adding more shots of the train passing at speed through stations. What do you think of that idea? :)
You do sometimes get EMT HSTs going from London to Leeds, but quite rare from my experiences. No services from Manchester. You'd have to change at Nottingham or Sheffield for a direct to Manchester.
Another fantastic video as usual! I'd really love to see a WCML Liverpool Lime Street to London Euston (class 390) service or a Liverpool Lime Street to Birmingham New Street (class 350 service) I really think that would be fantastic
Thank you! :) I'd love it if those routes were made for Train Simulator, that would be a great journey to drive! Let's hope something like that is made one day. I'd sure love to make a video on it if it was!
Yet another enjoyable video, I was hoping they would create the MML as far as Nottingham. I have been on the route before in real life and it feels more of a journey going past Bedford towards Wellingborough, Mkt Harborough and past Leicester. Hopefully this will be considered in future as I'd like to see a RouteLearn video going up towards Nottingham on a 222 meridian :D Keep those videos coming. Also I've followed on Facebook
101 % Great..!!! So interesting indeed, to see my local route the MML in mile by mile Track detail etc..I live on the MML @ Leagrave, this being my local station...only one strange thing though mateys..where were all the 222 's..?? ~ did not see one..!!! ~ but hell yer..love your video's my friend..!!! have Shared quite a few .of them...on my Google site..Cheers man.....Keep 'em coming..yeh, .Regards, Steve.
steve wyman Thanks for your comment and your feedback! :) Unfortunately there is no Class 222 currently available in Train Simulator, so there are only HSTs on the fast line in this video. Thanks again! :)
...specially the one..riding the " 57 " up the S/C..across the Pennines..an amazing journey that is..with the landscape /scenery etc..have been on it a few times back in the 80 's...on 47 's & 31 's..Always wanted to see it..looking forwards up the tracks..Thanks a million for that one, Mateys..!!! :)
steve wyman Thanks! :) The Settle to Carlisle route has amazing landscapes to travel through. I will do the return journey on that route at some point.
I just got this route two days ago. I bought it as a twin pack which also comes with the Class 377, which is my favourite EMU in real life. Would you maybe run that on this route in another video?
Great video once again Peter :) Do you plan to cover, if you haven't already, the Just Trains Scottish East Coast Mainline? And do you plan on getting the DTG Class 180 whenever it comes out??
Thank you Nick :) I do indeed plan on covering the Scottish East Coast Mainline. I haven't got around to it yet, but there are lots of Scottish videos coming up in the near future :) And yes, I do indeed plan on getting the Class 180 when it comes out.
My next video is going to be something American. In that video I'm going to discuss more in depth plans for future videos. After the next video, I will be back to the UK for a video before then heading to Germany. I am not 100% certain which UK or German route to look at yet.
+PTGRail That's fantastic news. Thank you. The Midland Mainline is one of my favorite routes but wished that Dovetail games would've have made a bit longer than Bedford. Also the AP, VP185 soundpack could have been updated too on the HST's.
Frowny13 You asked me if I can upload a timelapse video of this route. I'm not sure what I would need to do to make a timelapse video? I know what one is, I've just not done one before.
To make a timelapse video all you do is just speed up the action in the editor, very very simple, anther tip is during the speed up you could add music or leave the speed up sounds.
Ahhh.. I often buy it in Steam sales when it's cheaper. I've started to earn something back from this channel now, so within a few days RUclips earnings should have paid for this route :) This is more of a side project as I also work and study. Thanks, I'm glad you liked the video. There's plenty more on the way :)
DekkasTrains I guess is might be if you add up the two sections together into St Pancras - one to the main station and one to the Thameslink station. But the HUD clearly said 49.77 miles when I first looked at it lol
You have taken your time to produce great videos and show how to drive a train without the HUD and let us learn something in your videos
Very nice. i love your route learning videos and comments.

Jordan Ayinde I would like to, but right now the route just doesn't perform well on this computer sadly.
PTGRail can we get this scenario on steam workshop?
I watch most of you're videos and I think yours is the best so far :)
It's actually called St Pancras International - there was a Kings Cross Thameslink station, but it closed down years ago now
I do really love your videos, i like that you give information about the train that you are driving. i find it very interesting
Fantastic I used to work on this line and the route is very correct thanks David.
You do sometimes get EMT HSTs going from London to Leeds, but quite rare from my experiences. No services from Manchester. You'd have to change at Nottingham or Sheffield for a direct to Manchester.
Thank you! Have just found these. Looking forward to the German signalling video.
Chris Goddard Thanks! The German tutorial has been a bit delayed due to complexities of recording it but I am still working on it :)
Please could you go a class 222 Bedford to London with AP track enhancements also great video do love a 319

Is it possible to use other views in the videos? Passenger views and/or line-side views. Good work as always by the way :)
PTG Rail again great videos keep this up because I find this intresting
Thank you Sam, I will definitely keep it up :)

When I can afford the bedford to London with the JT meridian I will be building further from Bedford to Leicester for the train sim community
@@WMeridian Mammoth task! but I look forward to seeing it when done
@@Bvetube101 Yeah cant wait to get started Corby Included
101 % Great..!!!

yeh, that would be great mate..l look 4ward 2 it.. :)
Is the acceleration of the Class 319 similar to the Class 456 (DTG version)?
I just got this route two days ago. I bought it as a twin pack which also comes with the Class 377, which is my favourite EMU in real life. Would you maybe run that on this route in another video?
+Highspeedline01 I will see what I can do :)
Great video great detail

what a nice chilling video :)
+Loki Lonergan-Mitchell Thank you :)
Great Video
What are you planning to do next PTG Rail?

thanks enjoyed the video, did you clone this route ? or just a scenario ? would love to know more
I created the scenario from scratch for the purpose of this video. All trains are set to the real timetable :)
Good drive , nice video - like
Matz32Zg Thanks! :)
hi can u mabey do drive the class 350 London midland train from London Euston to trying one day.
B-E-A-utiful Peter, you are too damn good.
Haha thanks Declan :) I don't think I'm that good lol :p
PTGRail oh please. so much better than I am, great quality of the videos, a lot of effort.
Thanks :) There's plenty more videos to come :)
Do you have any plans for JT Newcastle - Edinburgh ?
I do, and I will be covering that route once I've sorted out the performance issues I've been having with it :)
Any way to make the AP soundpack work with the MML 319 or?
+aarongaming100 As far as I know there isn't unfortunately, you need the standalone 319 for the AP sound pack.
PTGRail Dammit can't afford both oly on or other :/ wonder why AP never patched it in
Can you do a HST London to Bedford fast on the MML for a route learning vid please.
Thanks
+HM Kahn I'll see what I can do.. although my next planned video on that route will be in the Class 222 :)
+PTGRail That's fantastic news. Thank you. The Midland Mainline is one of my favorite routes but wished that Dovetail games would've have made a bit longer than Bedford. Also the AP, VP185 soundpack could have been updated too on the HST's.
How do i get one of these routes
What map do you have to buy
How do you get the different roots is it on another website you download them off
+Liam Purcell Media You purchase them on Steam which comes with the game and can be downloaded online.
Ok thanks
Can you stop in St Pancras or is it just the thameslink station
You can indeed stop in St Pancras, the main station is there. I plan on covering this route in the opposite direction in an EMT HST.
One downside to the route is the OLE gantries, Theyre wrongly faced
great video first time watching and learning from you where can i get this sarnrio
Thanks :) This scenario is one I created myself which Steam workshop won't let me upload. The route is available on Steam.
could you do the return trip in a class 377
+Colin Engelbert I'll see what I can do :)
You Could have got the reskin from dp simulation. :)
+Tim O'Grady I have it now, I didn't at the time :)
Can you upload a timelapse video of this route?
I don't have any idea how to make a timelapse video lol xD
What do you mean you don't know how to make a time lapse video? What are you talking about?
Frowny13 You asked me if I can upload a timelapse video of this route. I'm not sure what I would need to do to make a timelapse video? I know what one is, I've just not done one before.

please do.

+1982barry You can purchase it on Steam :)
Nice :D
***** Thanks :)
Just curious howd you get the mula for that?
What do you mean?
How do you buy your dlc? You got a sub and awesome vid
Ahhh.. I often buy it in Steam sales when it's cheaper. I've started to earn something back from this channel now, so within a few days RUclips earnings should have paid for this route :) This is more of a side project as I also work and study.
Thanks, I'm glad you liked the video. There's plenty more on the way :)
Wohoooo!
PTGRail get an app called zello and add me rugberfreight and then in videos we can do like a train (you) and dispatch (me) if you want
This is 55 miles according to dtg...
DekkasTrains I guess is might be if you add up the two sections together into St Pancras - one to the main station and one to the Thameslink station. But the HUD clearly said 49.77 miles when I first looked at it lol
where do you find this route??
+adam savage You can purchase this route on Steam - MML London to Bedford.
Are you a real train driver
No Manchester services ;)
were 's the horn
you need to the horn
There are very few places on this route which require you to sound the horn lol :)
i sound the horn
all way's sound the horn
Where do you sound the horn? It's honestly very rare to hear train drivers sound their horns these days.
when i come in to the train station palt form
and when i lave the train station
when the door closeing sound start's
the electronic man You can do that if you like to, it's not necessary for realistic operation :)
