I’ve made this 5 times now and it is one of the most delicious cakes I’ve made. My husband who hates sweets loves this. However, I made some small changes to the recipe that suits our taste. And for those who say it got burnt, try cooking it on simmer for 45-50 minutes (might take an hour depending on the intensity of your lowest setting) and keep checking it after the 30 minute mark. Once it becomes a little golden brown on the sides, it should be done. Changes: -1/2 cup sugar -1 tsp vanilla extract Thank you for a wonderful recipe! This has become a family favourite!
Thank God I saw the comments.. used the above mentioned ingredients but kept it in cooker .. it came out so well.. filled the cooker with sand and preheated for 5 mins on medium to high flame then transferred the mix to the cake tray and kept it in cooker and baked for 55 mins in low flame...it was so yummy

Thanks for sharing this recipe.. Now I can bake this cake in kadhai.. you opened up a new style of baking cake for me. Guys, your cake will not burn if you are using this style. Use a tawa below your kadhai and bake on low flame for 50-55 mins as shown in the recipe. Also, you need to use similar kind of kadhai as shown in the video. It might not work in normal kadhai..
Thank you for the recipe. Turned out really good. Yes, did keep a tawa below the non stick kadhai. Also, turned it after 30 min so that it cooks well, as suggested by all.
1. Chop 2 bananas and put in a blender. 2. Add 1 cup sugar, 1/4 cup oil, 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon powder. 1/2 Tsp Salt and 1/2 Cup Milk and then BLEND. 3. Pour blended mix in a bowl, Then Sieve through 1.5 Cup of Flour in the bowl. 1 teaspoon Baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda. 4. Add some Chocolate chips. Mix well everything in the bowl. (I've made some changes after these steps in the recipe, as my cake had burned at the bottom when i simply followed this channels recipe) 5. Coat the bottom and sides of the utensil you want to cook your cake in. Then Get a deep cooker or kadai Or Cooking pot Heat it till it's hot. 6. Put a steamer/utensil stand in the kadai/cooker and pour a cup of water or just keep kadai/cooker empty. 7. Then pour the cake mix into the cake mould/bread mould. Place the cake mould on top of the utensil Stand, inside the heated kadai/cooker (acting as the oven). 8. Lastly cook for 45 - 50 mins in low flame. After 45 mind your yummy cake is ready to eat.

Guys I request u all to not put the cake batter in kadhai otherwise it will burn. My opinion is to take a tawa keep it on the gas stove on low flame and let it preheat for 10min then put your cake tin on the tawa and cover it with a lid and let it bake for 45-50 min and then afterwards garnish it with chocolate. Your delicious banana cake is ready 😋
ok so i made this cake today, as advised by people in the comments, I placed the kadai on tawa and let it bake. So my cake did not burn. But I would say that the cake is not that fluffy. And maybe if it's my kadai fault, it takes definitely more than 1 hr for complete baking. Maybe pressure cooker is better option. I think the video is missing something and misleading also.
Mine got burnt too in about 12 to 15 mintutes . Stove was at lowest setting. A tawa is a must or a baking sheet on kadai before pouring the batter . Don't use direct kadai for this. Place a tawa below the kadai.

Try putting the the mixture in a aluminum pan, then in kadhai add salt layer. And place the aluminium pan inside and cover. This is how i bake cakes in kadhai. It will take approx 50 min. You should not put vessel directly on heat like she did in video

you should use also pancake mixture instead of flour .it will not burn too much the bottom if its in the low fire and you put margarine too 😊me i cook it exactly 1hr and it looks good 😁😋
Same here. My cake got a burning smell and I thought of reading the comments. I have put a pan now, not sure how it would turn out to be 😢 Lesson learnt is read THE FRIGGING COMMENTS!!
I would like to help people with simple trick here. Put a thick bottom pan or kadhai on medium to low flame. Put a ring on it. Cover with a tight lid. Use the lid that comes with pan so it will not bend while cooking. Preheat this covered pan or kadhai for 5 min or till the pan gets hot. Then simply pour the batter in a cake tin or you may also use a thick steel vessel, greased with oil and flour. Put this on the ring, cover and cook for around 45 min. Keep checking the cake every 15-10-10 minutes. When you think the cake is done, switch off the flame, remove tin and remove the cake when it is completely cool. [Check the cake with knife or tooth pick once. If it comes out clear then the cake is done.] Hope you would like my suggestions. Regards

Kis kis ko banana cake accha lagta hain..Like maro..
Try this in a pressure cooker... Not a tawa as it will get burnt. Apart from that, the cake is just too good.
I did it in cooker.. and it came out really well.. 45mins was sufficient... There was a little stickiness inspite of being well cooked.. may be because it is made of banana???!!!
Right
Yes
It will be baked within 20 mins. I always cook cake on my non-stick pan and it always come out so good within 20 mins. Another thing I do is I cook the opposite side for 2 to 3 mins as well
Good to know!

Same thing happened when I tried this😔
today i tried n....🥺🥺🥺🥺 got a burnt cake
Recipe With Smilee hanji plz...btana kesa bna...cz mera pura cake jal gya...actualy mene pan ko plate se cover kia tha, jispe koi hole ni tha...kya ye mistake h...? plz let me know
Try putting the the mixture in a aluminum pan, then in kadhai add salt layer. And place the aluminium pan inside and cover. This is how i bake cakes in kadhai.
It will take approx 50 min.
You should not put vessel directly on heat like she did in video
Another method is mixture ko kadhai main dal ke cover karo and usko ek tawe pe rakho.
I tried this.was good.i added baking soda a little only.so it didn't rise up like this.but the taste was good.thank you for the recipe.i made in a steamer pot instead of kadai.
Glad you liked it
I tried this without reading the comments my cake got burnt
🤫😂
Sameee😪😪😪
Same😭😭
I tried and make my own cake it is good you can check - the lubna show
It's my channel only u have a chocolate cake
It's so very much successful,l caramel the sugar before using in cake so the colour was very nice..but time took 20-22 minutes only putting direct in non-sticky pan.
thank you for the receit all of you for the comments and advices.
is there any one who has tried it without sugar and replacing with banana or oat flour? please advise. thank you in advance
you should use also pancake mixture instead of flour .it will not burn too much the bottom if its in the low fire and you put margarine too 😊me i cook it exactly 1hr and it looks good 😁😋
Thanks for the tip! 😊😊😊
Same here. My cake got a burning smell and I thought of reading the comments. I have put a pan now, not sure how it would turn out to be 😢
Lesson learnt is read THE FRIGGING COMMENTS!!
If it comes out clear then the cake is done.]
Hope you would like my suggestions.
Regards
