This song is made for our savior. It sounds PERFECT...What people sometimes get confused about is these songs are made for our lord's glory to magnify and to praise his holy name, not for our own entertainment. EVERY song to him is PERFECT.
Some people like electric guitars, some like the piano...the guitar helps me to connect with the music even more. It makes my heart skip a beat...love it
I wish we could sing this type of song from time to time in my church. We use to at the church I went in Arizona, where my brother lead the group. Listening to this song you can almost feel the Holy Spirit moving inside and out with the Lord's comforting arms embracing us all. Praise his holy name amen!
34,657 views and only 91 likes I believe this is just because they don't have a love button instead for if so it would be much higher. One thing I love about this video is it shows something I truly believe in as far as how people dress for church. I have never believed that dressing in a suit and tie makes you any holier than someone in jeans and a t shirt. Not that a suit and tie is bad just don't believe it should be the standard held to anymore.
I'm a worship lead guitarist as well and that guy honestly ruined the guitar part. Turn down, drop the whammy, also learn how to control your delay when you stop playing. Support the song, don't over do it. Other than that this is my favorite worship song. Such a strong spirit behind this song
@Atari1309 Not wanting to stop people from worshipping loudly and proudly...just some people don't need to be mic'ed. That's what the audience is for...you can still worship there too.
@themastorparty well, that's true, haha :-) I guess what I'm saying is that ultimately I don't notice those things as much, as it is common on Sunday mornings. I do notice a really loud guitar taking away from the flow of the song, you know. When I lead, either from lead electric or acoustic, I want to play in such a way as to support the song, not overshadow it...
@themastorparty Anything else is really overshadowed by the electric, haha. And with the other vocals, when you have 30-40 people singing on a stage, there's bound to be some pitch issues. Not much you can do about it, unless you want to deny people the opportunity to worship proudly and loudly

I've LOVED this song ever since Jon Egan first wrote it and sang it at our church! It's awesome to see other artists get it out there as well!

@Atari1309 you can't hear the pitch issues between guitars? Also the girl singing harmony is flat.
Let me guess, thats not J.Camp's guitarist.
I honestly don't think Jeremy cared about how it sounded after while by his emotion he expressed while worshipping

lol i said the same exact thing about the lead guitarist lol!
Intro was wrecked :-/
Sounds great, other than the overly obnoxious whammy on the electric guitar? Lol
If you love this, you'll love the original recording by New Life Worship.

Combination of a good tuning/bridge system and a midlife crisis led to this guitar atrocity lol
Hey I'm a worship guitarist and I've learned...DON'T DO THIS!!!
Get rid of the spirit of criticism and the Church would be far better off.
