Who is watching this in 2024 because of addiction ??
Me. I cannot seem to break this alcohol addiction no matter how hard I tried. I feel defeated.
Me Been battling Lust since I was a teenager and I hate it. I believe Jesus is able and will set Me Free
I've struggled with addiction for over 20 years. I even went back to drugs and alcohol after I gave my life to Jesus. Just pray for help and He will hear you and save. But I learned I had to do the work by stepping into rehab and putting down the drugs. It took alot of time, much damage had been done to me along the way. But Jesus heals our hearts! Even if all you can say is Jesus help! He who the son sets free in free indeed. I'm 6 years sober now. You can do this through Him.
My son is free of addiction for 1 year now!
He fasted and prayed and reaches out to others suffering the same.
Prayer and fasting works! We say no to our flesh and give the Lord our thoughts confessing them and giving Him control.
There is a good podcast by past addicts called resurrection recovery check it out and be encouraged.
I will be praying for you all to be set free by the blood of Jesus

The blood of the lamb has spoken for Johnathan. He has been delivered from anything holding him down. He is living free from all his troubles, whether they be illness, pains, or addictions. God has set Johnathan free and is using him for His glory.
I’ve survived a stroke a blood bacteria and cancer all by the grace of God, I thank God for every day because every day is a gift from God. Don’t take anything for granted. Even the little things in life.
Thank God for every day. Also thank God for everything you can do, everything you can have and everyone in your life too it’s all a gift from God. Tomorrow is never promised us. Everything can be taken away in a heartbeat. Five years ago almost 6 years ago I had a stroke I lost my DL when that happened. I’ve been working for over 5 years to get my DL, this past Wednesday I finally passed my driving test Tuesday and got my DL on Wednesday and a used car Wednesday too. I’ve waited for 5 years to get my DL back. Thank God everything you can do, have and everyone in your life. And I said everything can be taken away from you in a heartbeat. You can lose it all. I ended up living at a nursing home not once but twice. And I eventually recovered enough both times to move out and live on my own again.
When you go through as much as I have you have a different perspective when you survive a stroke, a blood bacteria and lymphoma cancer. We should all thank God for every new day we wake up too . We should also thank God for what we have, what we can do and for everyone in our lives too. Everything is a gift from God.
In 2012 my husband was diagnosed with Leukemia. At that time I was about 7 1/2 months pregnant. We didn't know if he he was going to make it to see the birth of our daughter. I remember one night driving home from the hospital feeling so alone, helpless and powerless. Then this song came on the radio. I listened to the lyrics and I began to cry (ugly cry) and began to worship God in the middle of my pain. Then there came peace, a peace that I wasn't able to understand but that was exactly what I needed. That night I left everything in the hands of God, focused on worshiping Him and accepted His will...whatever it was. This song was my nightly anthem when I would drive home from the hospital. We named our daughter Grace because God gave my husband the gift of life. He was able to be present at the birth of our daughter and he has been present in her 8 years of life. By the grace of God he continues to be cancer free!

There are some many great stories on here telling how Jesus has delivered people through His grace.
I will add my own victory. I have been clean for 3.5 years now from being dependent on heroin. Hallelujah! I lost a marriage of 25 yrs, my children hated me, as well as a house and land. Went to prison at 52. God has kept me alive through it all. He has provided everything that I need since I turned to him through faith in the person and work of the Savior!
I am 70 & still alone. I still believe! God is so good. Thank you, Jesus ❤

I understand. I've been alone for 10 years since my husband walked out. I'm content. I'm trusting the Lord to bring me a husband if that's in his plans. I do get lonely for a companion, .but I have my church brothers and sisters in Christ

If you read this, would you pray for me? I'm over 50 yo ... I was radically born again 22 years ago and spent the last 22 years Spirit Filled, reading the Word, growing, serving, seeking, praying ... but I never learned to love ... I'm bitter and I easily find fault in most people around me ... now my heart is hope deferred and heart sick. I need to get the reality of Jesus' love right in my heart. I was by myself in Church the other day ... and I wept in my hands ... and said to the Lord ... help me to see, I can't see. :(

That was the day I felt God for the first time, You and my pastors son, my little brother Saved a young man that was pure evil. 2 days later I dedicated my life to God... Ive overcome suicide, depression, and anxiety. What I have yet to overcome is Idolatry, lust of the flesh, and complex ptsd. I’m afraid, ashamed, and sensitive. In Christ, I am strong, focused, sound, loving, patient, merciful and all that is Christ. I need him more than I know and I must be strong to get out there and make something of myself through him. It’s never been about us.

Overcame a 18 year addiction. At 32 God opened up my eyes to reveal the cost of Sin and debauchery I was living. I litterly heard 6 different demons. I was on my way to the phsyc ward but God had a different plan. I ended up at the door of a church, once i crossed that threshold of the Church I encountered Jesus Christ and my life was transformer instantly! Walking as a child of God it was so profound. I felt something so strange only an addict can sense the difference, I had peace in my life! And Love!

Jesus died an excruciating death for all of us so we could be in his presence he is so righteous we needed to be redeemed of our sins to ever have a chance to be in his presence. I saw Jeremy Camp live and it was one of the best shows I have ever seen, he is a terrific live performer. As much as I like his CD's, no comparing seeing him live. Beautiful song. Striving to put Jesus first in my life and all other concerns fall away.
