Great video. Can you make another video talking more about the motives of those who silenced your research and declared the bird extinct?
It boils down to the fact that, after becoming entrenched in the position that the Ivory-billed Woodpecker is extinct, critics have defended that position rather than seeking the truth.

I think they’re still out there personally. I want to go try to see one in Louisiana like everybody else following this search wants to.
Is there still extensive monitoring and searching going on in Pearl river near the space center ?
I moved back to Virginia in 2013 after going five years without any further sightings. I still return for brief visits every year. I heard a double knock a few years ago. Tantalizing, but not a sure sign.
suppressing dissenting views... That is the very observation of modern science. The established academics rigorously police new discoveries and work hard to discredit or destroy evidence that contradicts their own opinions.
I had the exact opposite view 40+ years ago while surrounded by extraordinary academics at MIT, but things have changed over the years.
