Fortnite has been really weird when it comes to addressing things. They are acting like this pickaxe was never a reward and they ignore any questions regarding refunds for people who bought the Mr. Dappermint skin
I got that skin for free yesterday and I never bought it cause I’ve never bought any v-bucks and the only skins I owned where juice wrld(free one) and the free Lego collab skin and none of my friends gifted that skin to me cause I’m only friends with 6 people and they are all just different account I own one different console I own
Also it's weird because he didn't come with his backbling I swear it's what I was most excited about, maybe having a skin and no backbling gives you a discount, maybe they think the backbling is enough of compensation? Really weird and stupid.
Same with vbucks refund for people which bought Lego or Festival pass before it was added to the crew, they said everyone got their redund but under the sams post there is tons of people saying they qualified but still didnt get it (including me)
i have my own personal theory. recently they added a de-rezz tally backbling to the files. so i think they will give BOTH of them as a victory reward or as a quest reward. or even as a winterfest present
Me and my friends have noticed items we have purchased from the in-game store have disappeared out of our locker and the item store says we don’t own them. I have contacted Epic player support and they have been messing me around for over a week. We all take pictures now of the items we have bought. If they can do this to us, they can do it to anyone especially if you have a large locker
Double check and make sure you both didn’t accidentally archive your items as that is a thing. Also, unfortunately it is a possibility of item removals as you technically don’t “own” the item under their terms of service. They can take anything out as they please.
@@Fear_Calibur checking the archive was the first thing I done, but the reason why we know things are missing two of my friends have lost cuddle team leader skin. I have lost over 10 emotes I think it’s most likely more as I spend between 5,000 and 10,000 V bucks per day. I’m still going through my locker to see if I can notice anything else
I’ve talked to Epic Games customer service on 3 different occasions and they have been ZERO help. A friend gifted me an emote I already owned. He lost 500 vbucks and customer service said nope. Didn’t even look into it. Time number 2 the marvel ranked cup brella did not unlock additional styles when ranking up in Reload. Epic said they know about it. Still not fixed. Had an issue linking an Xbox account and epic was no help. I give up. Not reaching back out to them again. Just out of luck and at their mercy.

It is such a simple fix (just use the same method for giving out free rewards for a victory, and use that pickaxe) but they're simply being lazy. Hopefully, because you're a bigger RUclipsr they might actually pull their finger out, so to speak

Last season (remix not ch5 S4) I bought a controller with a code for a pickaxe I already had so I emailed them asking if I would get v-bucks by redeeming the code or nothing. They took 5 days or more to respond to me, and I wrote to them about 4 times just for them to tell me I wouldn't get anything (I then gifted the code to a friend). When I complained about them taking so long to reply they said "oh sorry but please understand us we are having a lot of requests and questions these days" if there was a chance I could believe them weeks ago, after seeing All these comments I don't believe them anymore

It's pretty frustrating, I feel like Epic are gaslighting us! I am already using the related Brella in my Torin (Blue) loadout, one of my favourite skins, so I really wanted this axe to go with it. I hope we eventually get it. Winterfest gift hopefully. :)

I did a ranked zero build squad reload match my team of randoms carried me and we got a dub and i was wondering when i would get the pickaxe but never got it
I got so annoyed about this, I STRUGGLED to get 1 victory royal and when I did get one I was so hyped to receive it so I could pair it with the glider, I don’t understand why they did this.
I remember seeing it in the news feed. My friend and I had been playing a lot of reload before I saw it and I told him that we needed to get a win so we could get it (We had already gotten a few wins before this).
Considering Reload is as sweaty as a gym, I only won one Reload match in the previous month, like two weeks before the Chapter 6 update. I'm lucky to have ever won that match as is, and it's so infuriating when out of nowhere as you heal behind a tree you get domed by someone on the other side of the world while every one else is jumping and sliding around like they drank four red bulls and injected liquid adrenaline.

Tabor Hill I want to pitch an idea to you about Fortnite because I don’t have an audience to spread it to. If you played back in the day you’d remember loading up the game and having to choose between battle royale, save the world, and creative. With the current Fortnite lobby being so massive and cluttered, it makes it really hard to navigate. What if they brought back that old menu so when you loaded up the game let’s say there would be PvP or combat with all of your battle royales, reloads, and ballistics. Then, there would be a festival modes section, a lego modes section, a rocket racing modes section, a creative section, and last but not least a save the world section (I really think they should pick up save the world again it’s doing good player wise and is a really fun game). When you click on each of the tabs, it loads up and you would have a much smaller list on all of them, except for creative.
Epic removed the fish stick style for my toona fish and when I emailed epic support they said I never had it which is so stupid since i would remember such a obscure outfit in my locker missing

A lot of people need to realize that Epics support is a bunch of people in India who are severely underpaid, overworked, and informed on next to NOTHING. This isn't supports issue, this is EPICS issue. Epic support is severely fucked up. Honestly. I had to pull teeth and hair to get them to fix an issue with account creation AND to figure out that battlepass vbucks are shared with Nintendo and shared wallets. Most of the support probably had no idea about it being in the files in the first place.

I was about to say I also saw the banner in the game as well, in fact its the only reason I knew about it. It weird how…well for a lack of a better word, weird they’re being about a simple freebie.
If they did scrap it why not just say they scrapped it.

A lot of people need to realize that Epics support is a bunch of people in India who are severely underpaid, overworked, and informed on next to NOTHING. This isn't supports issue, this is EPICS issue.
Epic support is severely fucked up. Honestly. I had to pull teeth and hair to get them to fix an issue with account creation AND to figure out that battlepass vbucks are shared with Nintendo and shared wallets. Most of the support probably had no idea about it being in the files in the first place.
Who told you the support is based in India? You got any insider info?
