Awesome drone footage of Lake Isabella, thank you. This footage will go down in the record books, you should definitely do another video during the Summer on a sunny day when the water is clear and blue. It's going to be absolutely beautiful. Also, maybe do a few more videos before, when the new spillway is finished, and then another when the water is full. Thank you very much. I thoroughly enjoyed your video. I always dreamed of camping there with and RV one day. 🤗👍
This is by far the best Isabella lake footage I've seen. Thank you for your time and effort. I hope you receive 1000's more views. you might have a niche. Weekly lake videos. fishing spots levels etc. Thank you for sharing. I look forward to more.
The lake looks great. Thanks for the footage. I can't wait to see it blue again. The mud and debris from the flooding have really turned the water brown.
Thanks so much! I love taking my family to Lake Isabella, but last summer the water was so low it was depressing. I'm so happy to see it being filled up.
Thanks for the video. Was wondering how full the lake was. This summer will be up there again and wow what a beautiful lake she is again 👍🏽🙏🏼. Give another update please ❤
Great drone video! It's great to see our lake full... so blessed to have it filling up, and we haven't even started the snow runoff. Let's hope the water remains in the lake for years to come!
We were just there last July (2022) staying in the Weldon area. Such an amazing difference a few months can bring. Will be wonderful to see when the sediment settles and the water clears a bit. Hopefully, visitors can bring in some tourist spending to help the economy in the area.
This is awesome man! I've been wondering how full the lake is. It's unfortunate how much water came through kernville all at once but the lake being filled this much is just incredible to see. Hope to see what it looks like after these recent storms. Keep em coming!
My grandparents had a trailer in top row of Camp James just north outside of Kernville. We would go up every summer in the late 60s and all the way into early 80s. I have seen the lake a few times so full that they had no runways at the Kernville airport. When it first started having low lake levels we woul go out near the mouth of the kern and collect lures off the dead trees. Later on i went with someone in a dune buggy and we collected Ive seen kids jump off the boulder gulch bridge into the water and seen where when you looked down it was sand
This is awesome! I was really hoping you would go all the way to South Fork Bridge, or at least further into the trees to see the lake’s current edge there. Maybe next time? I’m hoping you’ll do this again later when it’s at a higher level. Very cool!! 🙌🏼
This is an amazing video and I really appreciate that you took these videos and labeled the different areas. How long did it take you to capture all the video? Sounds like you’re gonna do this again in the near future. Hopefully the water will be clearer! Thank you!
I have been going to this lake for 63 years. I have never seen it from the air. " THE BIG PICTURE " Thanks
Awesome to view from above. Thanks enjoyed the view.

Wow so much debris!

Spent a lot of summer in Boulder gulch camp ground

The road was closed getting to that bridge. I'll try to make an updated video In a week or 2
Just got a DJI Air2S. What drone did you shoot this with? I was thinking of doing this with mine for kicks. How does your drone handle the winds?
Mini 2, not so well. Phantom 4, amazing.
What model drone is this? Mavic 3? The range you’re getting on this makes me think so
Parking lot in paradise cove will be underwater when lake fills.. trees in south fork wildlife area... WOW

Nice Video. Which drone model you use ? Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪

Pretty sure the owners of that house on Lime Point at South Lake are like "Ok that's close enough."
Wonder when they expect it to reach capacity, because I think it’s a given that it will.
I noticed there's so few forests.
How many more feet until you would guess until it's full?
I looked at a topographical map and the spillway seems to be at 2615 feet above sea level. It currently sits at 2585 feet.
@@JonathanVegas1 they said they raised spillway 16'
@@JonathanVegas1 30' more a bunch of stuff will be underwater...😮

There’s enough water in the current snow pack that melts into Isabella to fill it at least three times. We need clear weather so we can fish!
