I had an 82 V45 Sabre. Engine was so smooth. Reasonable power but faster than my buddies 87 Super Magna 700, per him. For those buying, the timing chain/guides are the weak point. If you hear some rattling, that’s what it is.
@@mcycleshawn I'm not expecting to win it, there's still 4 days left and I can't put a lot of money down for it, but if I do win it then i'll be sure to take good care of it and start restoring it asap, good thing I'm part of a MCC who's main focus is restoring neglected bikes
Nice ride. All these bikes need 6 gears. Magnas and Sabres. Not sure what Honda was thinking. My 96 Magna with the 5 speed just ain't right. Fun bike but it needs sixth gear. Love the sound of your bike man. Really nice tone.
All of the earlier Magna and Sabre's were actually 6-speed - I know because I have three of them (2 of the 1100 and one 700). I know the 3rd gen Magna's had a 5-speed but not sure why they did that. Also not sure if it was only the 750's or the 1100's too?
I sure do! Been out on it this season already. Then I realized I need a new battery for it. Other than that and needing a valve adjustment it’s doing great!
I’m only 5’ 5” and I can manage......definitely could benefit from a lower seat or foam removal......I have a ‘84 V65 Sabre that would be very tough for me to manage if it didn’t have a flat Corbin seat and an adjustable rear shock from a CBR1100.....unfortunately all the suspension is removed by lowering and every bump hits hard!
Remove the baffles or add aftermarket pipes and it will sound loud and could be better. Sounded cool when the head pipe rusted through lol. I would rather not rejet this one…..definitely has a nice low rumble.
I loved my 83 Sabre! Wish I still had it! Many great memories and thrills! Enjoy
See my 1984 Honda Sabre VF1100S? That bike is a beast!
Takes me back in time to experience this again! Thanks for posting!
I have plenty of other videos on this bike. Check my channel. It’s been a very reliable ride! Thanks for the feedback
Bike seems like a great find. Exhaust sounds sweet man.

Nice 👍 wasn’t sure about the gauges but you know what I am thinking they’re really cool, kinda like an early version of the modern TFT panels : )
Thanks for you review. I like your positive vibe. 🤠👍🏼
I'm currently bidding on a 82' barn find vf750 sabre, fingers crossed because I'd love to restore it and relive its potential
That sounds fun!! Always exciting to win an auction! Go get it

@@MatthewJFitzpatrick yes, I know.
I'm just wondering were this was filmed at approximately.??
Kinda looks like western Washington state, just North of Seattle..
Happy to hear it looks like the west coast! This was filmed in Central Pennsylvania
Still have this bike? Last video I found on it.

Where do you find your bikes?
Sometimes they find me😂I watch groups that I’m a part of, Facebook marketplace, catch them along the road and word of mouth.
I'm 5'3",can they be adjusted? (Different seat, ect)

It doesn't sound like a 4C. It should sound much better.
