I have a NP550P7C laptop, which I needed to replace the screen, but couldn't find a video for.
You can use this video, BUT beware! There are screws holding the bezel on at the bottom, behind two round covers.
Also, the screen removal is slightly different. Once the screws at the top are removed and the screen tilted forward (it won't go all the way to the keyboard), there are four screws on each side which you have to remove. The screen will be free then and you just have to remove the connector.

Our Samsung laptop model is NP550P5C-A01UB. Can you please tell me how to replace the hinges on the laptop, I believe it’s the hinges that’s causing it not to close. My daughter and I have the same laptop and on her’s you can’t close the top of it, on the lower back bottom of the laptop Where the hinges are you can see where it’s splits which is keeping her from closing it. I’m praying you can help me because I can’t find anything online that shows me how to do this. Thank You Cindy

Hi, my name is Francisco. I have Samsung Notebook NP550P5C-T01AR (i live in Argentina), and I had an accident a couple of days ago and my LCD screen broke, though the external glass is perfect, the inside panels broke and the liquid is all spilled inside. What can I do? I don't really know where to buy one of those and do I have to buy the whole thing including the external glass? And for that do I need to first verify the model of the screen that my laptop uses, right?

I don't think so! I did exactly that (replaced the LTN156AT19-001 with an LTN156AT19), and it displays all the wrong colors!!!
Did you end up replacing the screen? Did you have this problem? If not, where'd you get the screen? And was it an exact model replacement?

no the NP550P7C is 17.3" widescreen display, the NP550P5C is 15.6

Hi, i have same exact laptop. Just started to have powering on issues. When i press the power the button, it takes 5 seconds to get power on, and when it does come on, all the blue lights comes on but the screen stays black.
