- In this tutorial I will show you how to crochet a round dish scrubby using tulle. I use front and back post double crochets to create a great texture for this scrubby. I used a size K / 10 1/2 6.50 mm crochet hook to make this scrubby. I used 3 inch wide strips of tulle to create this scrubby.

After 30 years of not crocheting, I injured myself and must sit all the time, so I began searching for crocheting projects on RUclips. After watching scores of them, your site is my favorite. Thanks very much.
I am sorry to hear of your injury, hope you will be better soon. Thank you so much for the kind words about my channel.
Such a beautiful pattern to make the mundane enjoyable! Thanks for your explicit video, can’t wait to make one.
Love these I made some black and orange for Halloween and some red and green for Christmas. They will make great little gifts.
I have been crocheting tulle scrubbies for eight years and people who receive them love them. I just made six of these following this pattern. I made them in two colors. I was thrilled with the results. I consider this the best scrubbies I have ever made and will be the ones I make for gift giving this year. they are wonderful. too bad this woman talks too much.
I'm new to crochet but I think I'll be able to handle making these scrubbiest. Thanks for the clever yet practical project.
Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful tutorial! I love this scrubbie, and will make it so that one side is the right side and the other is the wrong side because I couldn't decide which I like best😊! Thank you for explaining it so well.
Thanks for a very nice pattern, you explain every detail clearly.
Best scrubbie video ever!! Thank you!!
How awesome
you are a great teacher tytyty
In so many of these tutorials the gals go through the directions so fast.
I honestly think I can finally understand lol
You explain how to do this very well and in detail. Thank You!!!
THOROUGHLY enjoyed this easy to follow tutorial and am excited to buy some tulle to get started making these beauties!
Love this pattern, thank you for making it available! While I learned to crochet a long time ago, I had never heard of front and back post dc, so I watched your tutorial on it. It wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it would be. The only thing I did different was to use nylon netting, since I wanted something a little stiffer for pots and pans. Granted, mine don't look as nice, but I will be happy not to have to spend money for store bought scrubbers. Again, thank you!!
for those who want to star the crocheting, go to 6:15.
Congratulations on this new pattern. I love the texture of the FP and BP stitches and also joining differently. You are so smart for taking cardboard out of the spool and cutting to size You are making me a tulle addict. I need to get to Joann’s Fabric to buy spools with their 40% coupon on everything. Thank you so much.
What a nice pattern. I like both sides. Love the texture. Thank you for another wonderful tutorial.
I have made these and they came out great! I also modified your pattern by using a 7.00mm crochet hook with Yarn Bee "Scrub-ology" scrub it yarn from Hobby Lobby. I also slip stitched around the edge to join them, but after I slip stitch, I CH 1. It makes for a more decorative edge. Another variation that came out quite nice was to join them wrong side to right side. It gives the front a nice pattern and the back has its own unique pattern.
Hi I am new to this site I just wanted to let you know that I think you teach this tutorial very well.
With this pattern you have created a scrubby monster! Wish I could share a picture here but I don't see how. Thanks for your videos.
I am new to your channel and I haven't tried using Tulle but I really like this pattern. I'm off to Joann's to buy Tulle! Thanks for the tutorial.
Thank you and welcome to my channel.
Brilliant, I just bought some of that tulle yesterday!
Thanks for sharing your scrubbie videos!! Someone gave my grandmother one and I had no idea it was made with tulle, this is so cool!! I’m excited to start making these!!
I'm in the middle of the star scrubby. Did the circle one earlier. Looks like this one is next. Although I searched your videos and was looking for a flower scrubby. Might play. I hope you dont mind
New to your channel and this is the second one I am watching... watched the first one that you talk about in this video.. I have always loved working in fp and bp... love how it changes a pattern and the look... thanks can't wait to watch your next one, the heart shaped dish scrubbie. I have tons of tulle in so many colors...Love your channel
Love it!! I've made several... actually 36, lol I would love to try the Tulle.. Thanks for sharing. 💞💞
These are adorable for yourself...of course..hehe! Or gift baskets, Easter Baskets, Christmas Stockings....anytime. I love the orange or coral color too. Fresh, bright, Sunny color 🤗
Amazing thank you so much for sharing, because sharing is caring. Also if we wasn’t it slightly bigger what must we do. Please can you explain
Thank you for this beautiful tutorial so clearly. I try to make this scrubber.
Just found your channel. You did a great job giving direction on how to make your dish scrubby. I am going to make one to see how well it works so thank you for the inspiration. Also I think you could have a third look if you put one side as the wrong and the other as the right side.....two looks in one😊.
I love this scrubbier thanks for sharing. I have started my stocking bags for Christmas soooo these will be great 💕
You make pulling the tulle off the roll thing look so easy....the one I tried was glued to the roll so pulling it off was difficult and the inner part of the tulle got all messed up and it was harder to cut it in half.
The stitch definition does not show up with the dark blue. Love the scrubby.
Much better !!!!
Thanks for the video. Great instructions. Love all your videos. I have been lucky enough to find 3" tulle on rolls in lots of colors. It is sold in 25 or 100 yard rolls. Tulle is of great quality. Not sure if I can post the link here.
Do you have a tutorial for a sunflower dish scrubbie? I really enjoy your very informative tutorials... your teaching is so easy to understand!
I currently do not have a sunflower dish scrubby. I will add this to my to do list and make a sunflower dish scrubby in the near future and will update you when I have one completed and uploaded. Thank you for the the kind feedback on my tutorials :)
If I did my math right at the end of your round 3 should you have 36 stitches? Thank you for all your hard work in designing and doing this video Great Job 👍
Love ur dish scrubbie. How can I add another 1 or 2 rounds to it to make it bigger w/out curling
love this pattern but how much yard wise did you use for the scrubbie I just want to make sure I have enough for them thank you for explaining this as well as you have
thank you.
How do you get your wrong side so pretty I can't get mine to look that nice
Seven minutes in and finally it starts.
I always love your videos 🤗♥️ Congrats on your new crochet pattern 😊 You always give detailed instructions which are so easy to follow ☺️ I really like these scrubbiest too. I made a few scrubbies watching your other tutorial and I loved them, as they work great when doing dishes. I can’t wait to try this new pattern.
New to your channel. Loved your tutorial for your scrubbies 👍🏼💜🌸🌸
How long is the tulle you’re using? How many scrubbies can you get per roll?
How much would you charge for these if you were making them to sell? I imagine it depends on how much you pay for the tulle, but I never know what to charge for my work. Thank you!
I just love watching you you are great at teaching do you have other crochet patterns such as Afghans ladies sweaters thanks for sharing Carolyn
Thank you. I do plan to create tutorials for afghans and and ladies sweaters in future videos.
Could you do a written version of this
Yes, I can add written instructions to the video. I will upload a new version with written instructions and will update you when it is available. Thank you.
Not to worry about the speed. Go to the top of the picture. Click at the upper right hand corner there are three tiny dots. Click on the dots you will see the area that says playback speed. Adjust the speed to what you like it at. That’s what I do 😁👋
Is there a reason you cut the tulle in half? Could you make this using the full 6" width?
Thank you for this great question. I recommend making this scrubby with 3" wide strips, due to the front post double crochets. If you make the dish scrubby with 6" wide strips, the dish scrubby would be thick and bulky due to the front post double crochets in the third round.
I have to go to someone else for instructions omg!

good pattern woman talks too much. turned it off once i saw the pattern
