Takes me back to high school days! When they actually taught home ec and we learned how to make these and pot holders etc. Now I'm seeing the image of your applesauce ornaments on the right and thinking , yes, you need to make some of those! I made a garland out of them 10 years ago, and that thing held up so well, and smelled good for a lot of years!
yes!! The best video overall in teaching me how to do this! I had to source about 3 different videos and watch minute by minute to get the whole thing done! Thank you! Thank you!
Thank you for another great idea. Was looking for something to make and give away for Christmas and BAM here it is ..Thank you. I enjoy watching your videos you make me smile
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I have been wanting to learn to crochet and have been collecting ideas and watching videos. I actually thought about scrubbiest when I saw a pattern for dish clothes. I thought scrubby size wld be better for me. Boom! This video popped up in my feed. What a great idea. Thanks again.
My step- mother tried to teach me how to crochet one time and something that was suppose to be so relaxing had be so uptight after she tried I never did learn how to do it. These are sooo cute and would make great little gifts.
if you have trouble crocheting to tight .use a hook 1 or 2 sizes to big .that way if you crocheting to tight.useing the larger hook it should work out fine .Thanks Amber for all you do to show us all these great ideas .
I've made many of these as well. What I like to do is make 2 of them & then crochet the 2 together. It makes them nice & thick. Also I've made one using tulle & then make another one using cotton & crochet the 2 together. Then I'll ch about 10 & make a loop. This way they can hang to dry. Plus these wash up excellent in the washing machine. These are the absolute best pot scrubbers going...………………..
Thank you so much for this video- you are talented and a great teacher! I can’t wait to try this- I would also love to try tulle on one side and cotton on the other side ! Thank you!
Glad you are back!!! Excited to try this! I bought a scrubbie years ago at a craft fair. I loved it and could never figure out what the scrubbie part was. It was yarn and tulle it was square. I wore it out!!! Have you ever made one with yarn and tulle? I have looked for instructions and have never been able to find any. The pad was probably around 3x3” or 4x4. Would love to be able to make some if you know how. Thanks! Love your videos!!!
Hey girl love you and your chanel. How do you season your cast iron? I got my mom's when I was helping clean out her house when we lost her. I'm scared to use it.
Yeah???? Nope 😱😱😱😱 you lost me at single loop 2xs plus with my carpal tunnel...... big negative 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'll just have to order a few. I love you girl.. your talent is limitless.😘😘😘
I love these. My cousin makes one side with cotton thread and the other side with scrubby part. I'm so thankful she makes these for me. I toss them in my silverware rack in the dish washer to clean them. Thank you for the video. Now I can make my own. Your nails look beaitiful by the way! Every time I think I'm done writing on here I find something else. Lol I went on Amazon and got those wool needles. Those are great! Plus you can use them to pull snags through a sweater too. I never seen these before. TY
Good evening. I have a question for you that doesn't go with this video. Would you happen to know how to make a cancer ribbon wreath form out of maybe the candy cane forms or anything else? Thanks in advance.
I’ve crocheted since I was 4 to 5 years old. My stitches are tight as well. Always have been tight. The way to fix the issue is to use a larger hook. For me, if a pattern calls for a G hook, I’ll use an H. If a pattern calls for a G hook and loose stitches, I’ll use an I hook. This applies to all patterns and size of hooks with the exception of J and K size patterns. Give it try sometime and see if that works for you.
Enjoyed this video and may try it after new year. Will you be doing any more Christmas videos? Still enjoying those. Either way keep your videos coming. 👍🏻
You are a great teacher. I would love to get some of those yarn needles you used in the video. I could not find them on Amazon. Do you know the brand name? Nothing like them on Amazon now.
Resourceful way of using tulle for something other than its intended use. I don't know how to knit or crochet. But I'm sure I can ask my husband's aunt or my mom to make these for me. I'll just stick to what i make best..papercrafting and home decor
I have mentioned on various social media sites, that I am moving everything to another platform. I mainly sell out of a brick-and-mortar retail establishment now.
I watched several scrubby tutorials and your video was the best! Easiest to follow, clear, and you demonstrated all the steps. Thanks a bunch!
Thank you for making this video. I watched it with my 18 yr. old son and he wants to start crocheting. He's so excited!

Love these! Thank you!!!
Nice,very creative,love ur nails
Can you make them from netting? What's the difference between using nylon vs polyester tulle?
I love this pattern. What do I do when I run out of yarn? Or how do you use a different color for the last row?
Thank you for the idea. I think I'll make some and send them to a family member who has a funky one that looks tied into a mess ball.

That's right around when I learned, too. 5. I'll be 40 in April. I do use a larger hook for several patterns if gauge is important.
Can these be made with the tulle from Dollar Tree?
They sure can.
Thanks I have some my sister-in law gave me I taught her how to crochet many years ago lol but I love your hook do you sell them
Actually this hook is from Yarnology. I bought it at Hobby Lobby.
How many inches across are the scrubbies when you are finished?
I must not be the brightest bulb in the pack because no one else has ask this.
Do you cut the 6” tulle in half to make two strands 3” long???
@@alycewelker1060 no
Thanks
I agree. Slipknot is a good band...
Nice! You won the yarn chicken.
I love to watch you you have such great ideas

Do they really work ? Is there a specific yarn?
I wish I could get the hang of crocheting
Enjoyed this video and may try it after new year. Will you be doing any more Christmas videos? Still enjoying those. Either way keep your videos coming. 👍🏻
