    Good evening! We are from Ukraine! You have a nice hunting partner, Cassandra! I too hunted with my beautiful Cassandra lookalike wife in Ukraine before the russian war against us! Unfortunately, this season is lost for us! We are forced to part because of the russian war! Good luck!

    There are very few content creators on RUclips these days that I am able to honestly say I can watch their content from start to finish without having the urge to skip to a kill shot or the pictures after the trophy is harvested. You are an exception to that. I can start your videos and be fully entertained from start to finish. Great content, great buck. Keep up the fantastic work.

      Kris, I totally agree. I thought the same thing at the start of this. I watched the whole thing instead of trying to just skip to the action. Great work Jason and Cassandra.

    Jason, that was a special hunt. I'm very happy for your friend getting her deer. Wishing you both the best in your feature, the sky is the limit, don't limit yourselves. I hope the most you wish for, be the least of which you receive.
    Blessings your way my friend.

    Jason, your videos are at a level without peer. Your incredible effort to share a journey, what's needed and what isn't. The incredible perspectives, the soundtrack and the completely human touch. Not slick edit and special effects, but something slowed down, to be experienced and enjoyed many times over. Thank you and congratulations to Cassandra, who really did make a great shot when time was not on her side.

    Very well done. Both of you show a calmness that I associate with both appreciation for and oneness with the land. Even after the shot, she took a deep breath and was thoughtful. Doubtless appreciative of the opportunity and that specific animal.

    Howdy Jason. Cassandra shot a giant mule deer! Sometimes when you harvest an especially large animal it is difficult to grasp how special it is as you don't yet have any comparison to others. Thank you Jason. Great video! Later on sir.....

    More of the same excellent videography, beautiful country, and extraordinary animals. But, unfortunately, this episode is another example of how pressured these resources are. In this case land ownership (having free access to the land and wildlife on it) and the discomfort of competing with other hunters. I'd be content to accept competition for hunting ground and with other hunters as an ageless aspect of hunting but I've been at this too long and see it now as having increased to a point where it's not a one to one interaction with a wild animal(s). In the few years I've been hunting east and west, over 50 actually, I've seen pressure in specific areas rise and fall, but in general pressure has risen to the point where the quality of hunting has declined dramatically. We're loving it to death. Thank God for archery hunting. Some solace. But rifle hunting? For mule deer it's too easy and simply too popular. In short, it's become a real circus and we've become so jaded we don't recognize it for what it has become. When I watch a video like this it's like I'm watching someone take the final sips from a glass of fine rye whisky. Beautiful people, beautiful animals, beautiful land and water, a wonderful way of life - say goodbye as it quietly slips away.

    • @fasx56
      @fasx56 5 лет назад

      Raven Feather Your comments summing up the condition of Mule Deer hunting in the Western States is truthful and even poetic. There is tremendous pressure on Public Land for hunting and as our population ever increases it has evolved into your very thoughtful comments and insights. I would add one other thing, there is still excellent hunting on private ranches but you are then in a rich man's game where you pay six to ten thousand dollars for a guided hunt, most people cannot afford that kind of money.
