You know, I was thinking about the fact that we’ve had a blush trend going on for the past 3-4 years. Low key, I’m here for the avalanche of blush. My skin looked like hell when I was in my early twenties. I really struggled with cystic acne. The cystic acne cleared up in my late twenties and my skin started to look less red and angry in my 30s. Now that I’m 40, I find myself not reaching for foundation or concealer anymore. I can, finally, wear blush and I think it looks really great on natural skin. It’s even better with a highlighter-type glow. My makeup routine is down to brows, blush/highlighter, mascara, and gloss.
The ColourPop Precious Metals palette looks like it was heavily inspired by the Tati Beauty vol 1 palette in both the color story and how it's laid out. I find that interesting.
I'd put money on the fresh prince collab originally being from 2021-22 and after the slap they had to squirrel it away because the optics were SO BAD. but it was already ready to launch so they have just been sitting on it since then hoping they could sell it before the moment was gone
I was so HAPPY to see the Star Wars pack come out bc I was missing the r2d2 palette and I wanted it really badly- I scooped that set up so fast and I love the Darth Vader bag, it is so well made and incredible, if you're into Darth like I am lol
I love the cp stone cold fox palette, I use it almost every single day. There aren’t many palettes like it. Plus you think it’s going to be huge, but when it’s in your hand, not that bad at all.

Never mind leaking her own palette, that's expected by now. I can't believe Natasha Denona is still releasing highlighting palettes where no human on earth can possibly match all three shades. This palette should have been released as three single pan highlighters, they would have flown off the shelves rather than just being an afterthought
Not a beauty product, but Doc Martens discontinued a load of styles and colours for a vegan leather ( *cough* plastic *cough*) range which is rubbish! I had a style I bought repeatedly, three times in about 10 years. They lasted about 3/4 or 2/3 of the year, and they were a lovely cherry red that looked almost black at first. So disappointing!
The hilarious thing about the Glossier BDC is that the die hards on Reddit whinged and cried and raged about how much they hated the vegan formula, and then once the return of the the original formula was announced and a bunch of TJ Maxx stores in the US started getting the vegan ones in and on sale super cheap they all went out and stocked up on them. Why? They don't like them!! 😅

Yeah, a new video ✨🌺 with some real talk 😁 The lethal Avatar collab is great and very accurate to the show in a loving and detailed way - people were very happy about the price point (very understandable) but all the products are made in PRC. Usually the eyeshadows are made in Germany, so this is sadly a No for me. I'm a Star Wars and PML fan-girl, but this Vader handbag compilation - just awful. I wonder, why there has not been a new Bridgerton collection from PML, or at least some new products catering to the character arc of Penelope. Imo a dissapointment. PML idk anymore, such a cool Maison Margiela runway, but the brand is separating to much from the artist and artistry.
If you were going to switch mains from Ret to something else what do you think you would switch to? Another DPS or a tank or healer? And what would it be? Havoc DH maybe??
I think DM should have put the artwork just on the lid of the pallette, and then keep a solid color for the bottom where the pans are. They probably could have fit more too 🤷♀️
Do Australian prices include your taxes? If so that may be why the price differences seem extreme even when accounting for the exchange rate? US prices never include tax and sales tax rates vary a lot between states.

27 shades would make sense because its a multiple of 3. You could have a warm, neutral, and cool version of 9 different depths. Looking at the actual shades, they probably didn't do that but whatever.

I bought the Danessa Myricks palette and it's great - very fun to use. I agree with the WTF on the design. Couldn't they say least have spelled "GAY" with the pans or something? It looks like they dropped a bunch of colors they were testing and then left them there.
Does it seem like a palette where you can somewhat easily remove all of the pan items? I love everything in the palette, but it's possibly the ugliest packaged makeup product I've ever seen 😅

I've still got my original docs from England in Cherry Red. Have now handed them down to my daughter ..... 30 yrs and still going strong.

I would say that the Sigma palette is muted, rather than cool or warm. Nice, for us low contrast girls.
