  • The "rebirth" of the Piraeus Tower continues unabated with work taking place both inside and outside the building.
The grandiose plan to utilize the abandoned Tower in the port of Piraeus and convert it into a modern, bioclimatic building for offices and commercial spaces is already progressing.
The starting point of the new Athenian Riviera is set at the Tower of Piraeus, an architectural landmark for the country.
The Piraeus Tower or Piraeus Maritime Center is the second tallest in Greece, after the Athens Tower of similar architecture. The construction of the building began in 1972 according to plans by Ioannis Vikelas, Demosthenes Molfesis and Alexandros Loizos.
The property has 22 floors, a total height of 88 meters, a built-up area of 34,623 sq.m. and breathtaking views. The Piraeus Tower is going to be the first digital and bioclimatic skyscraper in our country to receive the highest Platinum certification according to the international sustainable development standard LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).
The project is intended for the use of offices, shops and restaurants.
By October 2023, the Tower is expected to be completed and opened with its new name Piraeus Tower.
