Kirstie's eyes are just as amazing as her voice. Just captivating. They do this so well. love the videography of the gold being the only thing of color, it just makes it pop.

This may have been answered in the live stream comments, but the black and white video with gold accents is based on the poster for the movie, which was a black and white photo with gold lettering.

Thanks for doing this! I love this rendition and Kirstie just slaying this. The reason for the black and white was the poster for the movie was done in black and white with the gold accents...rather swanky and Art Nouveau. I loved the look.Have you reacted to Be My Eyes?

The black-and-white color scheme, with "pops" of gold color from jewelry and room fixtures, is a nod to the movie's posters, which were all done in black-and-white photography, with the only color being the gold lettering of the title, A Star Is Born.

Kirstin is Latina, with Mexican and Italian ancestry. In the early days, she seemed to be going for an all-American girl look, with the blonde hair coloring and lighter makeup. This is an elegantly enhanced version of her actual coloring; see also Come Along and Havana. In concerts, she goes for all sorts of glam, with colorful wigs (including pink!).

You should do a reaction to Waving Through a Window that was on the screen at the end. It is epic and underrepresented in the reaction world- Scott kills the lead, but they are all 🔥- Matt’s bass is *chef’s kiss*! They filmed the video for it the same day they filmed Shallow (There a BTS vid for them).

There were different versions / fragments of the song in the movie and a full studio version during the movie credits. I think this is mostly based on a version in the movie accompanying a montage of the two leads performing in various venues.

This performance by PTX just blows me away. As good as the Lady Gaga version of this was, I actually prefer the pTX version. It is so rich and full, and the setting in black and white with only gold objects shown in color was pure genious. Kevin's cello was magical and all the harmonies were just perfect. One of my favorite all-time PTX performances.
