- I thought its been a while since I skated my rail, so lets change that and have a session. Lets see if I can still do all my rail tricks.

When I was a kid . Learning board slides , there used to be some curbs in Piccadilly. Just outside the gardens . I didn't know someone had waxed them . I went flying backwards and caught my nuts on the curb as I fell down .

I never skated Piccadilly but I heard it was a great place to skate back in the day. I didn't skate till after this point everyone was skating Urbis and Gasworks when I started up.
I love me a boardslide I am going to have to hit some curbs up after watching this! Great job brother!

If I may, here’s my tip for boardslide to fakie. It’s all about your shoulders as you get ON to the rail. If you commit your shoulders to rotating like in a 180 when you pop on to the rail, you’ll naturally want to come out fakie. You got this 👊
Yeah I know all this and I have landed them once before. For some reason though I just can't land another. It just doesn't feel natural to come out fakie but really it should feel more natural as your body should want to go all the way round.
Also the fact I can do Half cab boardslide to regular would make you think the boardslide fakie should be pretty much the same. I'll get there one day (I hope).
@@amskateboards I hear you. I'm the same way with boardslides going out different directions. One way is always natural and the other way is forced. Your half cab boardslides are super nice. That's not an easy one for me.

Boardslides terrify me too lol. It takes my about 50 goes before I finally start to do them.
As for boardslides to fakie when you think about it they should be easier. When you go for a boardslide you turn your body like a 180 so really your body should want to go all the way round and come out fakie. It just turns out my body is strange and doesn't do this lol.
Nice sesh, I recently learnt half cab slides but I gotta clean them up a bit.
I always have to remind myself that I need to pop earlier on the half cab ones than reg ones. Sometimes I just miss the rail completely because I pop too late.
