As a Malayali myself, I am quite amused how tourists are able to explore Kerala since it is hot throughout the year except for hill stations like Munnar. As you said we do not have many 'खाली जगह' in Kerala which explains why the roads are narrow.
It is called flotsam and jetsam. Coming in with the tide.
We did 8 day trip to keral from kochi varkala vagamon and thekkady. And fort kochi beach is one of worst beach we ever saw. Dirty. Varkala beaches are very clean and neat.
Fort Kochi beach is the worst beach in Kerala, but place is all about enjoying the old world charm and historical buildings.
I am planning to go here this weekend. Searched "Fort Kochi" on youtube aur aaj ka hi garma garam video aya!
