Dosae is made in two types - Crispy thin type which is called roast where the dosae is made very thin. Eg. Ghee roast, rava dosae, paper dosae are thin crisp dosae Thick dosae where batter is not spread very thin as in crispy roast type. Eg- Onion dosae/Uthappa, Pesarattu, Adai, Open butter masala, Set, Khaali dosae are a bit thick type.
Dosa is not usually crispy. Especially down South. If you want a crispy version, you need to ask for a roast. Ghee masala roast will give a crispy dosa.

Watching this video made me feel like a tourist and not a local. I was expecting more of fish meals and fish dishes which Kerala is so famous for , which I am sure the locals eat more
I guess you missed my last video but I eat seafood in VERY limited quantities as I get allergic to fish/prawns quite easily and I take meds after eating seafood. So, I try to limit myself to eating one seafood dish in 2-3 days...
I don't know if you did it on purpose, but you waited for a week to get Navratri over to post this video as it has a lot of Non Veg dishes. So much thought to put in. #Respect ❤❤😊😊
Dodai or itli ( not dosa/idly .. italy we pronounce as itli right..like that)... We used to eat dosa/idly with sambar , idly podi with oil 100% sesame gingely oil( idly podi means spicy mixed dal powder), coconut chutney, chilli chutney, tomato chutney, coriander leave pudina chutney (green), ... We can mix sambar and coconut chutney only this combination only goes well with dosa or idly..u are taking dosa piece dipping coconut chutney, chilli tomato chutney and again dipping in sambar 😢😮.. u can have eat all chutney separately with dosa and idly... If u want to mix then only sambar and coconut chutney ok 👍..else it wont taste good if u mix altogether 😮😢
In kochi food is very expensive those rates are charging for foreigners prices. We local Indian people can't afford those. So better find a local hotel with affordable prices. Thanks
