Hello! Can you help me out? When I send my wife an iMessage (from my iPhone to hers) my message doesn't appear, just a photo of me! she receives other people's messages just fine, but she has to touch my photo for her phone to display my message. Is this a setting I somehow initiated? Or, is it something she changed? She SWEARS she hasn't changed anything, and I cannot discern any changes I made that would cause this to occur. PLEASE help & Thank You!
To always have access to pass iMessages should you never Delete any messages off of your phone. The second question is if I do delete all messages off of my phone and they are backed up to iCloud can I search for a message and then will message scroll or show me pass messages from the cloud?

One of the things I used to like was to be able to select a previous message and copy it and then paste it somewhere else. Now, when you highlight the message to copy it, I can only comment on it!! So frustrating. Do you know how you can copy a message you have sent or received?
If the recipient is on an Android or other device, the most you can usually do is send/receive texts (SMS) from them. You won't be able to message them/receive messages from them on your Mac or iPad and they won't be able to take advantage of many great features if any.
Thanks so much for your kind words! Yes, unfortunately, other platforms like Android don't use the same proprietary tech (understandably) that Apple does, so they can't participate. Although I love a lot about the Apple ecosystem, Messages is the one thing I don't ever want to be without. The ability to message from any device, send files, screen share, etc is one of the best tools ever.
