Just bought a 2016 and having a hard time talking out the stock smart cell holder thats smaller . Whats the technique to take out old one? Also this new Oyefly fit a android note larger cells?
Congrats on your 2016! To remove the old holder, simply grasp the round know at the base of the holder near the stereo faceplate and rotate it counterclockwise about a quarter turn and pull back towards you. Don’t pull out too far for you have to then disconnect the USB connector inside that same knob. To answer your second question, it should fit your phone but I can’t guarantee it. I’m using an iPhone X and I know a much larger phone will fit. Please let me know if it does.
@@freddybsmart5346 yea for hours and hours tried turning left and pulling it won't come out and barley click turns. Ive tried everything.. gonna have to pay radio guy to remove it its obviously stuck.
I heard this mount breaks easily. That the stem breaks after a few months. How has yours held up?
Just got mine today, except mine has the smart logo at the top. Works great with my iPhone XS Max!
