I went straight for buying the oil rig install package - plus a jug of gas with the cash the game gives you. Traveling the map on foot with a loaded gun, I found the first drilling spot. I sold the oil, got some more cash and used that for the second oil rig install package that I located. I'm not going to cut any wood at all or buy the powered saw. I earn enough cash from the oil to buy all the planks I need.
Hilarious, loved it all. Firstly the driving made me laugh out loud. Mario kart goes to the Blue Ridge Mountains. Then your quote, stood at the edge of a copse of trees: 'I think I used one of these trees as a guide before'... That had me laughing again. I am sure you recognise the differences in the trees, but for a fresh viewer - I couldn't see the wood for the trees. Thanks Surtr!
Thanks Ben. Ah the tree. Well the first time I found it, I walked away backwards so I could remember the tree. I fell down the embankment and forgot which one it was. I have a couple more tips videos coming on this one. I might even do a play through if I get time.

I suppose their are many ways to start a game. Good idea not cutting planks. It also saves a lot of time.

I'm almost sure that you start with a crowbar or you get it right at the beginning.
