Are fascia wood boards recommended over fascia concrete boards? Are there other options?

Videos were great help. Are you still using the 18-g cordless nail gun?

Great vids, I just subscribed. Even though I am very familiar with what you've been showing you have a lot of great tips that I can use. What kind of cordless nailer are you using???

      Hi Jose,
I am using a Ryobi Air Strike 18 Gauge nail gun. I was not a big fan of Ryobi tools in the past, but they have come a long way. I really like this tool. I really appreciate your comment!
      Thanks!

when the front facia was removed, the side facia broke off too
and...the facia should have been replaced before the soffit ?
the soffit usually goes on last /
I would not use bondo to fill facia holes. it absorbs moisture
a high grade 2 part epoxy should be used, specifically made for outdoor woodwork
wouldn't a ladder be easier to use, than the home made portable work bench/ladder ?

In case you have not been properly informed. Bondo is a brand name and not a particular material. I am using Bondo automotive plastic body filler. It is made for outdoor use (AUTOMOBILE REPAIR). It is excellent for wood repairs and I have been using it for over 20 years. I have more than enough ladders to handle most jobs. I made this temporary platform in a few minutes with left over materials that I had around my house. I did not want to damage my bushes and It made my job much easier. You can handle your tasks anyway that you want, but I will continue to do what works for me.
